Try this easy seafood casserole made with shrimp, crab, lobster, Parmesan cheese, wine, and a seasoned white sauce.

5 tablespoons butter, divided
4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
12 to 16 ounces shrimp, cooked and cut into small pieces
8 ounces lobster meat, cooked
4 ounces crabmeat, cooked
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
Dash salt, or to taste
Dash pepper, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 to 2 teaspoons chives, snipped
1 to 2 teaspoons parsley, finely chopped
2 tablespoons dry white wine, or sherry
2 to 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Heat the oven to 350 F. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a medium saucepan or sauté pan over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook, stirring, until they are tender.
  • Use a small piece of the reserved butter to grease a 1 1/2-quart casserole , then combine in it the shrimp, lobster, and crabmeat. Add the cooked mushrooms on top.
  • Add the remaining butter to a saucepan and place it over medium-low heat; stir in flour until smooth and bubbly. Continue cooking, stirring, for 2 minutes.
  • Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Continue to cook and stir over low heat until the sauce is thickened and bubbly. Stir in the salt, pepper, paprika, chives, parsley, and wine.
  • Gently pour the sauce into the seafood mixture and mix well. Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
  • Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • Turn on the broiler for a minute to achieve a brown and attractive top.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

3/4 cup salt
1 (3 ounce) box crab boil
2 lemons, juice and zest of
2 lbs large raw shrimp
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons catsup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 cup grated new york sharp cheddar cheese
10 artichoke hearts, sliced
1 lb fresh lump crabmeat
1 cup buttered bread crumb

Steps:

  • Boil shrimp in 1 1/2 gallons water to which 3/4 Celsius salt, crab boil ( Iam not positive that it is 6 ounces), lemon juice & rind has been added.
  • Boil 6 minutes.
  • Drain & rinse shrimp with cool water.
  • Peel & devein shrimp.
  • Make a cream sauce of butter, flour, milk, & cream.
  • When thickened, add seasonings, xatsup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, sherry, & cheese.
  • In 2 greases 1 1/2 quart casserole dishes, place alternate layers of sauce, artichokes, crab, & shrimp.
  • Sauce should cover top layer.
  • Cover with bread crumbs.
  • Bake at 350F for 20 minutes until bubbly & hot.

1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup diced green pepper
3 tablespoons butter, divided
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 lb canned crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed or 1 cup imitation crabmeat, flaked
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 dash hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
1 dash paprika

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, saute the onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour until blended; gradually stir in the milk. Add chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened.
  • Remove from heat; stir in the crab, mayonnaise and hot pepper sauce. Transfer to a greased shallow 1-qt. Baking dish.
  • Melt the remaining butter and toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle over crab mixture. Bake uncovered at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with paprika.

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups half-and-half
1/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2 bay leaves
2 lbs cooked peeled shrimp, rinsed

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat until frothy. Whisk in the flour until it becomes a smooth, paste-like consistency. Turn the heat down, and constantly whisking, add in the half and half and whisk until bubbly.
  • Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire, lemon juice, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and bay leaves, whisking until smooth. Remove bay leaves.
  • Turn the heat up slightly. Add in the shrimp and 1/4 cup water, making sure to completely coat the shrimp in the sauce. Cook for 5 minutes. If needed, season more with salt and pepper. Feel free to add more red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately over rice.

1 pound imitation crabmeat
1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
6 teaspoons lemon juice, divided
1 cup minced celery
1 cup mayonnaise (such as Hellmann's®)
⅓ cup minced red onion
1 tablespoon minced red onion
3 tablespoons minced fresh dill
1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add shrimp and 2 tablespoons lemon juice; cook until shrimp are bright pink on the outside and the meat is opaque, about 2 minutes.
  • Transfer shrimp to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Combine celery, mayonnaise, 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon red onion, dill, remaining 4 teaspoons lemon juice, seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  • Dice shrimp and crab. Add to the mayonnaise mixture and gently stir to coat. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

1 cup uncooked white rice
1 pound crab meat
2 (12 ounce) packages frozen shrimp, thawed
2 cups mayonnaise
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
½ cup sliced almonds
10 buttery round crackers, crushed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 3 quart casserole dish.
  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Combine crab meat, shrimp, rice, mayonnaise, onion, milk, hot sauce, and almonds in casserole dish. Mix well.
  • Cover top of casserole with crumbled crackers. Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until casserole is bubbling.

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, flake the crabmeat, and mix in mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice and Old Bay seasoning. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to mingle.

2 stalks celery, chopped
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 lbs lump crabmeat
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley or 1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
3 cups cooked basmati rice or 3 cups brown rice

Steps:

  • In a large stockpot, sauté onions and celery in olive oil until softened, about 10 minutes, stir in garlic granules.
  • Combine chicken broth and flour and stir until smooth. Add to celery mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 30 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice, cayenne and Tabasco sauce. Add shrimp and cook about 5 minutes.
