Steps:
- Cook the grain blend as the label directs; set aside.
- Heat the coconut oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they just turn pink, about 1 minute per side; transfer to a plate and set aside. Add the jalapeno, ginger and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the skillet and cook until the jalapeno softens slightly, about 1 minute. Add the broccolini and scallions and cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly softened, 2 minutes.
- Add the coconut water to the skillet and cook, stirring, until the broccolini is just tender, about 2 minutes. Add the peanut butter and cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 1 minute.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet; cook until opaque and the sauce thickens, about 2 more minutes. Stir in the cilantro and lime juice. Serve over the grains.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook as the label directs. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
- Meanwhile, heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 2 teaspoons vegetable oil, then add half each of the scallions, ginger and garlic; stir-fry until the scallions are wilted, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the shrimp and stir-fry until just cooked through, about 5 minutes. Transfer the shrimp mixture to a plate using a slotted spoon.
- Add the remaining 2 teaspoons vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the remaining scallions, ginger and garlic; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook, tossing to coat, 1 to 2 more minutes. Add 1/2 cup broth. Cover and cook until the broccoli is just tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Whisk the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water in a bowl, then whisk in the remaining 1 1/2 cups broth, the soy sauce and sesame oil. Return the shrimp to the skillet; add the broth mixture. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring, until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the pasta and toss to coat.

Steps:
- Fry the onions in the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are deep golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes (maybe longer). Set aside to cool.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and salt generously; prepare an ice water bath. Blanch the broccoli in the boiling water for 1 minute, then remove it to the bowl of ice water to stop the cooking and set the color. Remove it from the water to drain.
- Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and press into a deep fluted tart pan with a removable bottom (or a deep-dish pie pan). Lay the onions over the base of the crust, then lay the brocolli pieces on top of the onions. Chop the Brie and lay that in the crust too.
- Whip the half-and-half, eggs and some salt and pepper in a large bowl, then pour it into the crust. Sprinkle the chives on top.
- Place the pan on a rimmed baking sheet, cover lightly with aluminum foil and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown, another 10 to 15 minutes. (The quiche will still seem slightly loose, but will continue to set once removed from the oven.) Let the quiche sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then, if using a tart pan, remove the quiche from the pan. Cut into slices with a sharp serrated knife and serve.
- Put the flour in a large bowl. With a pastry cutter, gradually work the shortening and butter into the flour until it resembles coarse meal, 3 to 4 minutes. In a small bowl, beat the egg with a fork and pour it into the flour mixture. Add the cold water, white vinegar and salt. Stir gently to combine.
- Form the dough into 2 evenly sized balls and place each ball into a gallon food storage bag. Using a rolling pin, slightly flatten each ball of dough (to about 1/2 inch thick) to make rolling easier later. Seal the bags and place them in the freezer until you need them. (If you will be using them immediately, it's still a good idea to put them in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes to chill.) When you are ready to use the dough to make a crust, remove from the freezer and allow to thaw for 15 minutes.

SHRIMP AND BROCCOLI QUICHE
This is a variation of recipe #93358 (Kittencal's Seafood Cream Cheese Quiche). I changed the size to 1 quiche, and changed a couple of the ingredients. For the pie shell, I use a Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Place pie crust into pie plate, according to the directions on the package.
- Depending on your oven, you might find it necessary to pre-bake the crust before filling. You can find directions for "blind baking" at http://www.ochef.com/955.htm If you do that, you will probably need to adjust the baking time for the quiche and eliminate the first baking at 425°.
- In a saute pan, melt butter and saute the onion and garlic until soft. Stir in broccoli and shrimp, then pour into pie crust.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Mix together the eggs, cream cheese, half-and-half and cayenne (if desired) and pour over cheese. I used a hand mixer for this and had to take out a couple of tablespoons of the egg mixture so it wouldn't run over the pie shell.
- Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce temp to 350° and bake for 30 minutes more.
