Broccolini gets a flavor lift from toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds.

2 bunches Broccolini, trimmed
Coarse salt and ground pepper
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Set a steamer basket in a large saucepan filled with 2 inches simmering water; add Broccolini. Cover and steam until crisp-tender, about 6 minutes. Transfer to a platter. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with sesame oil, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar (or other vinegar)
1 tbsp neutral oil
1/2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
3 cups broccoli (chopped, about 1 small head)
1/4 red onion (diced)
1/4 cup craisins
2 tbsp sliced almonds
1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds (to finish)

Steps:

  • Whisk the dressing ingredients together in a large bowl, then add the remaining ingredients and toss well. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Sprinkle on some sesame seeds and enjoy!

2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons oriental sesame oil
2 tablespoons honey
12 cups broccoli florets (from 2 large bunches)
1/2 cup sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, oil and honey in large bowl until blended. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Steam broccoli florets until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Cool.
  • Stir sesame seeds in heavy large skillet over medium heat until golden, about 5 minutes. Transfer to small bowl; cool.
  • Mix broccoli and half of sesame seeds into dressing. Let marinate at room temperature at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours, tossing occasionally. Transfer broccoli to platter. Pour dressing over. Sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds.

1 head Tanimura & Antle Broccoflower®, cut into 1-inch florets
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
¼ cup orange juice
1 ½ tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Steps:

  • Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl; reserve.
  • Heat 1/4 cup water in wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add Broccoflower® and cover for 1 to 2 minutes. Add red pepper and sauce. Stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until Broccoflower® is crisp tender and sauce is thickened. Stir in sesame seeds.

  • Meanwhile, mix tahini, miso, soy sauce, mirin, vinegar, sesame oil, 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tsp. honey, and 2 Tbsp. water in a small bowl to combine; season sesame sauce with salt.
  • Cut lemon lengthwise into quarters, then thinly slice crosswise. Toss in a small bowl with remaining 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil and remaining 1 tsp. honey; season lightly with salt.
  • Spread sesame sauce on a platter and arrange broccolini on top. Scatter lemon over; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
