- Place the beef in the ActiFry air fryer pan. Drizzle with the canola oil and cook until meat is browned on all sides, about 8 minutes. Transfer the meat to a plate. Add the onion and pepper to the ActiFry air fryer pan and cook until tender, 9 to 10 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and cook an additional 3 minutes. In a small bowl whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch and chili flakes and add to pan with beef. Stir in broccoli, and cook an additional 5 minutes, until broccoli is just tender and liquid as thickened slightly. - Place the steak in a medium-sized bowl and toss with the soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the cornstarch and mix it in, so the beef is coated. Set aside.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F, air fryer setting. Add the broccoli to the basket and spray with cooking spray.
- Shake the basket to coat the broccoli and cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket every 2 minutes until tender-crisp and starting to brown. Set aside.
- Spray the basket with cooking spray. Add the beef to the basket in a single layer, spray with cooking spray. Air Fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, and coating with more cooking spray. Beef will be cooked through and lightly crispy.
- For the sauce, in a small bowl, whisk together the light soy sauce, beef stock, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, rice vinegar, and ginger. Set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the cooked beef and broccoli to the pan. Add the sauce, and toss everything to coat. Cook until the sauce is thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Serve with scallion garnish. Plate, serve, and enjoy!

- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat until hot but not smoking. Add beef, and sprinkle with the salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer beef to a plate.
- Add scallions and garlic to skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, until golden, about 30 seconds. Add broccoli and 1/2 cup water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture is dry, about 3 minutes. Stir together broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a small bowl, and add to skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is no longer cloudy, 1 to 2 minutes. - Place the sliced beef in a large ziplock bag. Stir together the marinade ingredients and pour into the bag. Smoosh to coat the beef in the mixture, then let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam the broccoli for 2 minutes, or until crisp tender. Set aside. Stir together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Heat an wok or very large skillet to high heat. Add the oil then gently place the beef in the wok and spread into a single layer. Let the beef cook for 1 minute without touching it.
- Add the garlic and ginger and stir continuously for 1 minute, then add in the sauce and broccoli. Bring the sauce to a boil, then add in the cornstarch dissolved in water.
- Cook until the sauce has thickened slightly (2 minutes). Serve over rice, if desired.
