SAUSAGE FRENCH TOAST ROLL-UP RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: sandwich bread, sausage link, eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract

Steps:
- Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin. Carefully cut off the crusts.
- Place sausage at the edge of the bread, and roll up.
- In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Dip each roll-up in egg mixture, and pan fry in a buttered skillet until all sides are golden brown.
- Enjoy!

SAUSAGE FRENCH TOAST PANINIS
Hot from the grill, these "fast food" sandwiches made with English muffins, meat and cheese beat the drive-thru any day!

Steps:
- Heat panini pan over medium heat or heat contact grill 5 minutes. Press sausage patties into thinner patties, about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Cook sausage in panini pan 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or cook in contact grill 2 to 3 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked. Wipe surface of pan or grill. Spray weighted top of panini pan with cooking spray.
- In small bowl, beat eggs, milk and mustard with wire whisk. Dip muffin halves in egg mixture, soaking well. Place 1 cheese slice and 1 sausage patty on each of 6 muffin halves; top with bacon and second slice of cheese. Cover with remaining muffin halves.
- Place 3 sandwiches on panini pan; place weighted top over muffins. Cook 2 minutes or until browned. Turn; cook 2 minutes longer or until browned and hot in center. Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Or cook sandwiches in contact grill 2 to 3 minutes.

SAVORY SAUSAGE FRENCH TOAST
Steps:
- In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; remove with a slotted spoon. Discard drippings. In same skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until blended; gradually stir in cream and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 4-6 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in sausage, cheese, pepper and salt; keep warm., Lightly grease a griddle; heat over medium heat. Meanwhile, in a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk until blended. Dip both sides of bread in egg mixture. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve with gravy.

FRENCH TOAST-SAUSAGE CASSEROLE
An easy, overnight breakfast casserole that puts the sausage right in with the French toast!

Steps:
- In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook sausage over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain.
- Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In baking dish, arrange 4 of the bread slices, cutting as needed to fit dish. Spoon sausage over bread. Top with remaining 4 bread slices.
- In large bowl, beat eggs, half-and-half, milk, granulated sugar, cinnamon, salt and vanilla with whisk until well blended. Pour evenly over bread. Cover; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
- Heat oven to 350°F. Uncover baking dish. Bake 40 minutes or until golden brown and set. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with syrup.

GRILLED ITALIAN SAUSAGE PANINI
This is a variation of Mysterygirl's panini recipe (Recipe #16432) that I came up with when I had a craving for Italian sausage. I must say that it turned out really great, but try it for yourself! Amounts are for one sandwich - just multiply as necessary.

Steps:
- Put sausage in small pot and cover with water.
- Bring to boil over high heat.
- Once water boils, prick the sausage with a fork several times so that the grease comes out as it cooks.
- Boil sausage for 5 minutes, or until it looks at least halfway cooked.
- Remove sausage from water, and either rinse it under warm water (there might be some scum on it), or wipe it with a clean paper towel.
- Preheat George Foreman grill.
- Slice sausage in half, lengthwise.
- Place sausage cut-side down on hot grill, and cook until done (about 5 minutes or so).
- Place cheese in bun, then add sausage, and top with roasted red peppers and/or your own favourite additions such as hot banana peppers, marinara sauce, olives, tomatoes, fresh basil, etc, etc.
- Close sandwich and grill in George Foreman until the bread is golden and crispy.
- Cut sandwich in half and enjoy!
SAUSAGE STUFFED FRENCH TOAST
Steps:
- Cook sausage according to package directions; cool slightly., Cut a pocket in one side of each slice of bread. Fill pockets with sausage and cheese., In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and sugar. Soak bread in egg mixture, about 1 minute per side. Cook on a greased griddle over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Serve with syrup.
