This fun and yummy pink sangria is great for brunch or a shower. I always get tons of requests for this recipe, and the pink color along with the strawberries is so festively fun! Serve with lime wedges or wheels. Feel free to eyeball ingredient measurements or adjust to taste.

This is a very old recipe, taken from DMIL's recipes box. The recipe is so old that the paper is very yellowed. I hope you enjoy this simple but delicious refresher.

Steps:
- Strain juice from lemons and 1 orange.
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Place in large pitcher.
- Cut peel from remaining orange in one continuous motion, leaving end attached to the fruit.
- Drop into pitcher.
- Add ice and wine and stir to blend.
- Serve in goblets half-filled with crushed ice.
- Garnish with lime slices or other fruit.

Steps:
- Put the chopped fruit in a bowl and sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon, then stir to coat. Cover and leave to macerate in the fridge for at least 1 hr, or ideally overnight.
- Fill a large jug with ice. Stir the macerated fruit mixture to ensure the sugar is dissolved, then tip into the jug with the wine and brandy. Stir, then top up with the sparkling water and serve.
