Red Velvet Hersheys Hug Cookies Food
RED VELVET HERSHEY'S HUG COOKIES

Number Of Ingredients 5
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium size bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs and oil until well combined.
- Roll into one-inch balls, roll in sugar, and place on cookie sheet.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes or until done.
- Take out of oven and let cool for about 5 minutes before placing an unwrapped Hershey's Hug in the center of each cookie.
- Be careful not to bump the cookies after placing in the Hershey's Hug, or they will melt and flatten into the cookie.
- Let cookies and chocolate cool completely and enjoy!

- Preheat oven to 350°. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silpat baking mats and set aside.
- Mix together cake mix, eggs, and butter using a hand mixer or stir it by hand. The dough will be thick.
- Scoop 1 tablespoon sized balls onto your cookie sheets. Chill for at least 30 minutes. If you bake them right away they'll spread just a bit too much.
- Bake about 8-10 minutes until tops just start to crack. Err on the side of underdone! Immediately press a Hershey's Kiss onto the top of each cookie. Let cool completely.

- Beat butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, egg, milk, red food color and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into butter mixture, beating until well blended.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookie is set (do NOT over bake). Remove from oven; cool 3 to 4 minutes. Press candy piece into center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
