Reata Cherry Limeade Food

CHERRY LIMEADE

Steps:

• Combine the cherries and limes in the blender with the sugar and 2 cups of water. You can also add some ice if you want it extra cold.
• Blend until all the ingredients are pureed.
• Strain the juice and add the rest of the water through the strainer
• Serve cold or with ice garnished with cherries and lime slices.

FRESH CHERRY LIMEADE

Steps:

• Put 1 pound of the cherries, sugar and 1 1/2 cups water into a medium pot; cover and simmer over medium heat (reducing heat, as needed, to maintain a simmer) until cherries are very tender and have made a fragrant syrup, about 20 minutes.
• Set aside to let cool and then puree in a blender with lime juice and zest.
• To make each glass of limeade, pour about 1/2 cup of the cherry-lime syrup and 3/4 cup still or sparkling water over ice in a tall glass.
• Stir well and then top with a small handful of the remaining cherries, garnish with a lime wedge and serve.

CHUCK'S CHERRY LIMEADE

Steps:

• Pour the lime juice into a pitcher. Mix together the sugar and 1 cup water in a separate container and stir to dissolve and make a syrup. Add the sugar syrup to the lime juice and top it up with 4 cups water. Chill in the fridge for about an hour.
• To serve: Fill mason jars with ice cubes, add some limeade and top them off with a drizzle of cherry syrup and a maraschino cherry.

REATA CHERRY LIMEADE

Steps:

• Add all ingredients to a glass filled with ice, and stir gently. Garnish with lime and cherry.

Steps:

• Chill all ingredients before mixing.
• When cold, combine the lemon-lime soda, lime juice, sugar, cherries with their juice and lime slices in a large pitcher and stir. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
• Serve with a ladle, getting cherries and limes in each serving.
