This is a simple, elegant appetizer that is sure to impress!

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 (8 ounce) round Brie cheese
⅓ cup seedless raspberry jam
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease with cooking spray.
  • Lay the puff pastry onto the prepared baking sheet. Center the Brie wheel onto the pastry. Spread the jam evenly over the top of the Brie. Sprinkle the walnuts atop the jam. Fold the puff pastry over the top of the Brie, sealing all openings.
  • Bake in preheated oven until the pastry is golden brown, about 20 minutes.

Baked Brie in Puff Pastry With Apricot or Raspberry Preserves image

This baked brie puff pastry is rich, creamy, and dessert-like. It always disappears. I'm always asked for the recipe. Raspberry preserves goes great in this as well. Bringing in 2012 I made this using Recipe #463563!

0.5 (17 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 (8 ounce) package brie cheese, round
1/8 cup toasted almond, slices (optional)
1/4 cup raspberry preserves or 1/4 cup your favorite preserves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Lightly grease cookie sheet.
  • Roll puff pastry out slightly.
  • Place cheese wheel on top (leave rind on).
  • Place preserves on top of cheese.
  • Place almonds on top of preserves.
  • Bundle Puff Pastry up and around the cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool for five minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite crackers.

1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
2 rounds (8 ounces each) Brie cheese
1 package (11-1/2 ounces) stone ground wheat crackers, divided
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave jam on high for 15-20 seconds or until melted; brush over the Brie., Crush nine crackers. In a small bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, nuts and butter; press into the jam. Serve with remaining crackers.

  • Add walnuts, melted butter, and granulated sugar to a small spatula over medium heat. Toss walnuts to coat and cook for 5 minutes until sugar has melted, stirring frequently so sugar doesn't burn. Once sugar has coated the walnuts, quickly transfer the nuts the parchment paper and spread out so that walnuts don't stick together. Let walnuts cool.
  • Place brie in a rimmed baking dish (or cast iron skillet). If you don't like the rind, trip off the top of the brie. Sprinkle top of brie with brown sugar.
  • Bake brie for 12-14 minutes or until brie is heated through. Remove from oven and allow brie to cool for 5 minutes.
