6 ounces spiral pasta
2 pounds chicken meat, cut into strips
1 (.7 ounce) package Italian dressing mix
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 (16 ounce) jar prepared Alfredo sauce

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook pasta at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain.
  • Sprinkle chicken with Italian dressing mix and garlic powder.
  • Pan-fry chicken in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, cooking in batches if necessary, until the juices run clear and chicken meat is no longer pink in the middle, about 10 minutes per batch. Turn chicken pieces over after about 5 minutes of cooking.
  • Transfer chicken to a serving bowl and toss with cooked pasta. Pour Alfredo sauce over chicken and pasta, mix thoroughly, and serve.

I got the inspiration for this recipe from Papa John's chicken bacon ranch pizza. It's our favorite, so I tried re creating it at home. It turned out great! Enjoy. p.s. This is not a healthy recipe but it sure is delicious!

1 (8 ounce) can pizza dough
2 cups cooked chicken breast halves (chopped)
8 slices cooked bacon (cut up)
1/4 cup red onion (chopped)
1 1/2 cups pre-shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3-1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 ounces cream cheese
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt and black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Roll out pizza dough onto your pizza pan or cookie sheet. Prepare sauce.
  • In saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Mix in the cream cheese and stir until melted. Stir in the cream and garlic powder. Increase the heat and bring to a boil. Decrease the heat and simmer, stirring often. If sauce seems too thin, sprinkle in some flour 1 teaspoon at a time. Cook and stir for desired consistency. Stir in the parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. You should have a nice creamy alfredo sauce for the pizza.
  • Spread your ranch dressing on your dough first, next spread your alfredo sauce on the dough.
  • Sprinkle half of your mozzarella cheese on the pizza. Add your shredded chicken, bacon and chopped onion. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake at 425 on the bottom rack of oven for 20 minutes or until crust appears done on the bottom.
  • Assuming that everyone eats two pieces each, this makes 4 servings. Otherwise it makes 8.

The addition of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and caramelized shallots really add another dimension and make you want to eat the whole thing! But, if you're generous, this pizza is equally perfect for sharing with your family or friends.

1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup jarred or refrigerated alfredo sauce
1 1/4 cups thinly sliced shallots or 2 medium shallots
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
3 ounces fresh Baby Spinach
1 cup shredded cooked chicken breast
1 lb refrigerated pizza dough
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt
ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Remove dough from refrigerator. Let stand at room temperature 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • In a small bowl, combine Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and Alfredo sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and cook, stirring frequently, 8 minutes or until soft and caramelized. If shallots begin to brown too quickly, add water 1 Tablespoon at a time, stirring until water evaporates. Add spinach to skillet with shallots and sauté 2 minutes or until spinach wilts. Remove from heat.
  • In a medium bowl, combine chicken breast, lemon juice, and the shallot-spinach mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  • On a floured work surface, roll out pizza dough into a 13-inch round. Transfer dough to a pizza pan. Spread Ranch-Alfredo sauce evenly over crust. Top with mozzarella and chicken mixture. Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese. Bake pizza 15 minutes or until crust is browned and crisped on the bottom and the cheese is melted.

Wanted to make a chicken alfredo bake but needed to use up some ranch dressing and didnt feel like making the biscuits for the bake, resulting in this variation. My fiance and our friend called it "chicken ambrosia". Truly delicious and super quick and easy!

1 1/2 pound(s) chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into chunks
1 medium yellow onion, diced
8 ounce(s) cream(sour cream or mexican crema)
2 cup(s) ranch dressing
5 teaspoon(s) parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon(s) parsley flakes
1 teaspoon(s) black pepper
8 cup(s) california vegetable medley

Steps:

  • Sautee onion until browned and carameled. To the same sautee pan add the chicken and ranch dressing. Simmer until chicken chunks are no longer pink but not quite fully cooked. Add cream, parmesan cheese, parsley, and black pepper.
  • Meanwhile steam the vegetables
  • Serve the ranch chicken alfredo over the vegetables
