- Season the ground beef with adobo, black pepper, and meat tenderizer. In a large pan over medium heat, add the, olive oil, seasoned ground beef, Sazón, tomato paste, tomato sauce, sofrito, green plives, cubed potatoes and chopped carrots. Cover pan and cook on low-medium heat until ground beef is browned, stirring occasionally. Turn heat down to low and continue cooking until potatoes are tender and ground beef is well cooked, stirring occasionally.

- Mix flour, salt and pepper in freezer bag. Add stew beef and coat evenly. Add enough olive oil to cover the bottom of a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add sugar. When sugar caramelizes, add meat and brown on all sides. Remove beef from the skillet and place in the bottom of slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and cover. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.

- Add the peppers, onions, sofrito, garlic, sazon, oregano, cumin and vinegar and mix well. Lower heat and cook for 10 minutes covered.Note: If ground meat is too oily, drain some of the oil out of pan.
