Steps:

  • Bring 3 1/2 cups water to a boil. Remove from the heat, add 4 peppermint tea bags and steep 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and gently squeeze out the liquid; pour the tea into a pitcher. Stir in 3 cups cold water, 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice and 1/4 cup honey. Chill. Serve over ice with mint leaves.

This mocktail can be made with freshly squeezed juice from a pomegranate or by using Pomegranate Juice. To juice the pomegranate, cut it in half (as you would a grapefruit) and juice using a citrus reamer or a juicer. Pour mixture through a cheesecloth-lined strainer or sieve. One large pomegranate will produce about 1/2 cup of juice. I got this from a pomegranate site.

2 bags cranberry pomegranate green tea
4 cups boiling water
1/8 cup honey
4 cups ice cubes
Lemon slices, halved
Mint leaves, optional

Steps:

  • Pour the lemon juice into a 2 liter pitcher.
  • Add the cranberry pomegranate green tea bags.
  • Pour boiling water over the tea bags. Allow the tea to stand for 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags from the pitcher. Stir in the honey.
  • Add ice cubes. Serve Cranberry Pomegranate Iced Tea cold.
  • ** Throw in a few lemon slices and/or mint leaves to add extra flavor.

  • In a mixing bowl, crush or muddle the lemon and lime juices with the brown sugar, blending the juices and sugar together. Next, thin slice a few mint leaves and add to the juices. Then add the sweet tea, pomegranate juice and cranberry juice and mix well. After mixing, serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint.
