Steps:

• Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add granulated sugar and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour, beating well after each addition. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
• Heat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes with 3- to 4-inch cookie cutters; sprinkle with colored sugar. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets.
• Bake 12 to 15 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 2 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Steps:

• 1. PREHEAT oven to 325°F.
• 2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, butter and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour.
• 3. SHAPE, bake and decorate as directed for each variation.

• Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes and place cookies, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 12 minute or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet 1 minute Remove to wire rack; cool completely. Decorate as desired. Yield will depend on size of cookie cutters used.

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Cover. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
• Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut into assorted shapes, using 3-inch cookie cutters. Place on greased baking sheets.
• Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Transfer to wire racks; immediately press about 1/2 teaspoon of the crushed candies into top of each hot cookie. Cool completely.

HANUKKAH SUGAR COOKIES

Steps:

• Beat first 4 ingredients in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add flour; mix well. Cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
• Heat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough to 1/8-inch-thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes with 2-inch cookie cutters; sprinkle with colored sugar. Or, leave plain to frost later with decorating icing (after cookies are baked and cooled). Place on baking sheets.
• Bake 12 to 15 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

COOKIE BUTTER CHEESECAKE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 325ºF.
• Reserve 6 cookies. Finely crush remaining cookies; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
• Beat cream cheese, sugars, vanilla and spices in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.
• Bake 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hours.
• Crush remaining cookies coarsely; sprinkle over cheesecake just before serving. Microwave cookie butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec. or until heated through; stir. Drizzle over cheesecake.

PHILADELPHIA STYLE COOKIES AND CREAM ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Crush the Oreo cookies by placing them in a plastic bag and using the heel of your hand to crush them.
• Using a wire whisk or hand mixer, mix milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves, about 1-2 minutes.
• Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract.
• Pour into ice cream maker and churn for about 15 -20 minutes or according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Add crushed Oreo cookies to ice cream and churn for additional 5 minutes.

PHILADELPHIA® SNOWMEN COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325°F. Beat cream cheese, sugar, butter and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add flour and baking soda; mix well.
• Shape dough into equal number of 1/2-inch and 1-inch diameter balls. (You should have about 44 of each size ball.) Using 1 small and 1 large ball for each snowman, place balls, slightly overlapping, on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten to 1/4-inch thickness with bottom of glass dipped in additional flour. Repeat with remaining dough.
• Bake 19 to 21 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle each snowman with sifted powdered sugar, if desired.
