Peep Smore Dip Food

PEEP SMORE DIP

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Pour milk chocolate morsels into a round pie plate. Spread into an even layer.
• Top milk chocolate with peeps marshmallow candies.
• Place in oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until the chocolate has melted and the peeps are golden. Be aware that the milk chocolate morsels may retain their shape but will be glossy when melted.
• Serve with graham crackers or butter cookies.

S'MORES DIP

Steps:

• Combine the chocolate chips, heavy cream, corn syrup, butter and 1/8 teaspoon salt in an 8-inch cast iron skillet (see Cook's Note). Put over medium heat. Stir periodically as the mixture comes to a gentle simmer. Simmer for 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened. Turn down the heat if the sauce comes to a full boil. Remove from the heat and let cool at least 15 minutes.
• Preheat the broiler.
• Cover the fudge sauce with a single dense layer of marshmallows. Place under the broiler and broil until the marshmallows are toasty brown, 2 to 3 minutes (watch carefully as they may brown more quickly depending on your broiler.) Serve right away with dippers.

EASTER PEEPS S'MORES DIP

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Make sure the oven rack is in the middle of the oven. Place a spoonful of Crisco or pat of butter on a paper towel and grease the baking dish. Pour the chocolate chips in the baking dish and spread evenly with your hands. Arrange the Peeps bunnies on top. For a 9-inch square pan, I fit 6 Peeps across in 3 rows. Place the baking dish in the oven, keeping an eye on the Peeps. Bake until the Peeps start to brown lightly, puff a big, and start to crack, about 6 to 7 minutes. Make sure not to over-brown the Peeps! Serve warm with graham crackers and pretzels, or any other dippers you prefer.

S'MORES DIP

Steps:

• Heat the chocolate, milk and 200g of the marshmallows in an ovenproof frying pan over a low heat until melted and smooth. Top with the remaining marshmallows in circles so that the whole surface is covered.
• Grill on high for 1-2 mins until the marshmallows are toasted. Serve with digestives and strawberry and pineapple skewers for dunking.
