PEANUT BUTTER FONDUE
This is a delicious, more "sophisticated" take on peanut butter for all ages. Little ones will love the fun of dipping their food and older ones will enjoy rediscovering the joys of a good PB&J. Add chocolate, and you have a desert gauranteed to please all taste buds, perfect for fruit, ice-cream, cake, etc. Make it vegan by using margarine, soy milk, and vegan chocolate!

Steps:
- Melt peanut butter, butter, sugar, salt, and milk over low heat, stirring often, or in Crock-Pot Little Dipper or fondue pot.
- Stir until mixture is smooth and caramel colored, adding more milk as needed to reach a smooth dipping consistency.
- If desired, add chocolate sauce and stir well.
- Continue heating until warmed through.
- Serve plain peanut butter fondue with toast and jam sandwiches as dippers; chocolate-peanut butter fondue is perfect for a variety of fruits as well as ice-cream, cake cubes, etc.
- My sweetie and I eat the first half of this plain, with toast and jam, then add only 1/4 cup chocolate sauce to the remainder for our dessert.
- Make this vegan by using margarine, soy milk, and vegan chocolate!

Steps:
- Puree the berries in a blender or food processor. In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the liqueur or water. Place the pureed berries and the cornstarch mixture in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens slightly and the milky color has disappeared. Pour into a serving bowl or fondue pot. Serve with fondue forks or metal or wooden skewers so that diners can dip their choice of fruit or cake into the sauce.
PEANUT BUTTER FONDUE (CROCK POT)
From The $7 a Meal Slow Cooker Cookbook. My kids have recently gotten into fondue and its a great way to get them to eat their fruit. I haven't tried this one yet, but have to return this book to the library. This can be served as an ice cream topping as well.

PEANUT FRUIT FONDUE
It's been a while since fondue was the biggest entertaining craze since barbecues, but you'll want to try it again with this tasty sauce. Fruit improves dramatically enveloped in this creamy sauce, then dipped in peanuts or shredded coconut. Also try it with bite-sized pieces of angel food or pound cake. From an old newspaper clipping.
