2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 1/3 cups milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Heat waffle iron; grease with vegetable oil or shortening.
  • Stir ingredients until blended. Pour onto center of hot waffle iron. Close lid of waffle iron.
  • Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle.

1 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
6 -8 slices bread
6 -8 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
jelly, on top as desired
powdered sugar, on top as desired

Steps:

  • heat waffle iron and grease.
  • stir milk, bisquick, peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until blended.
  • dip bread into batter on both sides.
  • place in waffle iron and close.
  • bake until steaming stops.
  • remove waffle.
  • sprinkle each waffle with choc. chips, jelly, and powdered sugar if you like.

1 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
6 -8 slices bread
6 -8 teaspoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat waffle iron and grease with cooking spray.
  • Stir milk, Bisquick,peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until blended.
  • Dip bread into batter on both sides. (If coating is too thick add 1 teaspoon of milk at a time until desired consistency.).
  • Place in waffle iron and close lid.
  • Bake about 2 minutes.
  • Carefully remove waffle toast.
  • Sprinkle each waffle with 1 tablespoon chocolate chips.

8 slices bread
1/2 cup peanut butter
4 tablespoons jelly or 4 tablespoons jam
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

Steps:

  • Spread peanut butter on 4 slices of bread; spread jelly on other 4 slices of bread.
  • Put one slice of each together to form sandwiches.
  • In mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs; add milk and salt and mix together.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip sandwiches in egg mixture, coating well.
  • Place in skillet and brown both sides.
  • Serve immediately.

1 1/2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 egg, room temperature
3 tablespoons nonfat milk
1 tablespoon jam (flavor of choice) or 1 tablespoon jelly (flavor of choice)
1 slice white bread
nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Spread the peanut butter in the bottom of a small bowl and microwave in 15 second intervals until pourable. Mix after each 15 seconds.
  • Add the egg into the melted peanut butter and scramble. Make sure to incorporate the peanut butter, it will try to stick to the bottom. Add milk and mix.
  • Coat both sides of the slice of bread in the mixture. Give it a minute or two to soak up some of it. In the meantime, heat a small pan and coat with nonstick spray. Add the bread to the pan and cook on each side until golden.
  • While the French toast is cooking, put the jam into a small bowl and microwave for 20 seconds or until pourable.
  • Serve with the melted jam poured over the toast.

1/4 cup shortening
2 eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 cups milk
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (stirred to remove all lumps, spooned lightly into measuring cups)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar

Steps:

  • Cream together peanut butter and shortening.
  • Blend in eggs and milk.
  • Stir together dry ingredients and add to peanut butter mixture, beating until smooth.
  • Pour batter into preheated waffle maker, and bake per waffle maker instructions!
  • Makes 4-6 servings.
