PEANUT BUTTER AND HONEY RICE KRISPIE TREATS

- In a large glass bowl, pour in 4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal, and set aside.
- Add 1/2 cup honey to a small sauce pot, and turn the heat to medium.Heat the honey to a boil and allow to boil for one minute.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter. Stirring until thoroughly incorporated.
- Pour the honey and peanut butter mixture over the Rice Krispies.
- Stir until all the Rice Krispies are coated.
- Pour the mixture into a parchment lined dish (I used an 11X7 inch), making sure to press firmly together.
- Place your dish into the freezer for 10 minutes. This is to allow the bars to set faster, so that you can enjoy quickly!
- Slice into whatever sized bars your heart desires, and enjoy!

- Grease your pan with butter or baking spray.
- Pour the cereal into a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the honey into your saucepan and set over medium heat.
- Bring to a rolling boil then allow it to boil for one minute.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter and pinch of salt.
- Pour over top of the cereal and stir until well combined.
- Spread into the prepared pan and press down gently.
- Set aside for at least 1 hour until the bars feel firm.
- Cut into 16 squares.

- Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper
- In a large mixing bowl combine 1 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup honey, and 1/4 tsp salt
- Once thoroughly combined add the rice crispies to the bowl and mix again
- Mix until the cereal and pb are an even mixture
- Press firmly into the pan
- Heat chocolate chips and 1 tbsp of peanut butter in the microwave or over a double boiler until the chocolate melts and the peanut butter can be easily mixed in
- Pour the chocolate over the rice krispie layer
- Season with flakey sea salt if desired
- Place in the fridge to chill until the bars are solid - at least 2 hours
- Cut the bars into 16 even squares and enjoy!
- Store the bars in the fridge and enjoy shortly after removing from the fridge because the bars will melt quickly

Steps:
- Butter a 9x13-inch pan.
- In a large saucepan, mix the sugar& Karo syrup.
- Cook over medium heat until mixture starts to boil.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in peanut butter.
- Add the Rice Krispies and mix until covered.
- Put into the buttered pan and lightly press.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, cook both kinds of chips until melted.
- Pour on top of Krispies squares and spread to cover.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
