This cake is amazing! Peacock Tv used to keep it in their terms of use, but they took it down. So, I'm keeping it her for safe keeping. The recipe was kinda vague, so I'll add a bit more detail from personal experience :)

Number Of Ingredients 11

Ingredients

cooking spray, for the pan
2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1 cup boiling water
1/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups flour, plus more for the pan (gluten free if preferred)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

Heat the oven to 325 °F.
Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
Chop up the chocolate, add it to the boiling water and stir. Pour it into a cup.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.
Add 1/3 of the water mixture, 1/3 of the flour mixture, the repeat until out of each mixture.
Bake for 30-40 minutes. If you are frosting it, allow it to cool completely. What I do is serve it warm with ice cream!
