Peach Basil Margarita Food

FROZEN PEACH MARGARITA

Steps:

• Add the salt to a small-rimmed plate and 1/4 cup water to another plate. Dip the rims of the glasses into the water then the salt. Set aside. Add the nectar, tequila, sweetened lime juice, liqueur, fresh lime juice and peaches to a blender. Puree until smooth and serve immediately in the salt-rimmed glasses.

PEACH MARGARITA

Steps:

• By the glass: Add ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into an ice-filled margarita glass. Optional: Garnish with lime wedge &/or salt.
• By the pitcher: Stir gently in a pitcher and serve in an ice-filled margarita glass. Optional: Garnish with lime wedge &/or salt.

PEACH-BASIL SANGRIA

Steps:

• In a saucepan, combine the sugar, basil leaves, half of the peach nectar and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer, crushing the basil leaves with the back of a spoon to release their flavor. Simmer just long enough to melt the sugar, then remove from the heat and allow to cool.
• Strain the basil mixture into a pitcher filled with ice cubes. Pour in wine and remaining peach nectar. Stir briefly and serve.

PEACH-BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• Put the large basil leaves, lemon juice, and peach liqueur into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass; crush with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon for about 10 seconds to release the flavor from the basil.
• Add the tequila and enough ice cubes to fill the shaker 3/4 full, then stir for about 20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice, and garnish with the peach slice and basil, if using.

PEACH-BASIL LEMONADE SLUSH

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, combine sugar, peaches, basil and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand 30 minutes. Discard basil; stir in lemon juice. Refrigerate until cooled completely., Process half the peach mixture and 2-1/2 cups ice in a blender until blended, adding more ice if desired. Repeat with remaining peach mixture and ice. Pour into chilled glasses; serve with peach slices and additional basil.

PEACHES 'N MINT JUICE

Steps:

• Juice the peaches, apple, and lime with a juice extractor. Transfer the juice to a blender with the mint leaves. Blend quickly to combine the juice and mint thoroughly.
