Steps:
- Rub the defrosted brats with the garlic and leave it stuck to the brats.
- Lay the brats in the bottom of a foil lined pan, leave enough foil on the sides to tent it over the brats later.
- Quarter the onion and apple and spread the pieces out over the brats.
- Sprinkle the pepper over the whole thing and seal the foil over the top.
- Bake in a 350 oven for an hour.

OVEN-BAKED BRATWURST (EASY RECIPE)
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure your oven rack is in the center position.
- Cover your baking sheet with tin foil. (A casserole dish or baking pan also works well.)
- Place the bratwurst on the baking sheet, allowing plenty of space in between.
- Bake the bratwurst on one side for 10 minutes.
- Flip the brats and cook on the other side for 5 to 7 minutes (until browned).
- Quick Note: If you're cooking the brats with other veggies in the pan, they'll need 20 to 25 minutes. When cooked by themselves, the bratwurst cook in just 15 minutes.

- Preheat your oven to 400 F / 200 C.
- Place the sausages on a baking sheet. You might want to line it with a parchment paper, or a silicone baking cover.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the sausages are golden brown on top.
- You can turn the sausages once halfway through cooking them to ensure an even cooking result. This will make the sausages equally crispy on all sides, however it's completely optional.
