Out Of This World All Purpose Sauce Food

ALL-PURPOSE MEAT SAUCE

Steps:

• In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the beef and garlic until beef is browned; drain. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until sauce is as thick as desired, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta or rice, or use for making lasagna, pizza, chili dogs, tacos or sloppy joes.

CREAMY AND DREAMY POBLANO CHICKEN

Steps:

• Broil pablanos 10-15 minutes until blackened.
• Allow pablano to cool while cooking chicken, 3-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
• Blend evaporated milk, poblanos, garlic and bouillon in a blender.
• Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
• Slowly stir in the poblano mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil and thickens.
• Spoon small amount of sauce over each piece of chicken.
• Pour remaining sauce in bowl to serve with the meal.

OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD SCALLOPED POTATOES

Steps:

• Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, and cook, whisking constantly, 2 to 3 minutes or until flour is lightly browned. Whisk milk into butter mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 6 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheddar cheese and next 3 ingredients, stirring until cheese melts.
• Spread a 1/4 cup of cheese sauce evenly into a lightly greased 13"x9" baking dish. Layer half the potatoes over the sauce. Top with half the remaining sauce. Repeat with remaining potatoes and cheese sauce.
• Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit, covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
• Stir together bread crumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese. Remove potatoes from oven and spread the bread crumb mixture evenly over the potatoes. Bake, uncovered, 20 to 30 minutes more, or until potatoes are tender.

APPLE RAISIN SPICE CAKE

Steps:

• Place raisins in a small bowl; cover with boiling water. Let stand for 5 minutes; drain and set aside. , In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in applesauce and vanilla. Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, baking soda and ginger; add to creamed mixture just until blended. Stir in walnuts and raisins. , Pour into a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack., Serve with Hard Sauce (recipe also in Recipe Finder).

BARBECUE RUB

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients and use as a rub for any barbecue meats.

• mix the four and sugar together first in a pan.
• Add remainging ingredients and stir well.
• Bring to a boil.
• Pour over meatballs, ribs etc.
