Number Of Ingredients 8

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Oreo cookies, chopped-about 15 cookies (I chill them so they're easier to cut)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Have ready a greased or non-stick 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter together until smooth, stirring constantly.
  • Remove pan from heat; cool 10 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, vanilla, and eggs; beat until light.
  • Add the chocolate mixture, flour, and salt; blend well, but do not overmix.
  • Gently stir in the Oreos.
  • Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30-38 minutes--DO NOT OVERBAKE!
  • Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.

Number Of Ingredients 9

♦ 1 Box of Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie mix (you will need the additional ingredients listed on box)
♦ 8 oz cream cheese, softened
♦ 1 cup powdered sugar
♦ 1/4 cup of Butter, softened
♦ 3 cups milk
♦ 2 small packages of instant fudge chocolate pudding
♦ 12 oz tub Lite Cool Whip
♦ 1 Box of Oreos, Crushed (save a couple whole ones for garnish)
♦ 8 oz tub Lite Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Prepare and bake Brownies as instructed on box. Cool Brownies completely and set aside. Blend together Cream Cheese, butter and powdered sugar until creamy. In a separate bowl, blend milk and pudding until thick. Add pudding to cream cheese mixture, then fold in 12 oz tub of Cool Whip. Now you can begin layering the Trifle! Cut up the brownies in bite size squares and place one layer of brownies on the bottom of the Trifle. Then put half of the pudding cream cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle 1/2 of the crushed Oreos for the third layer. On the Oreos, put half of the 8 oz tub of cool whip. Repeat for a total of 8 layers. Garnish the top with the rest of the Cool Whip, some Oreo "crumbs" and a couple whole Oreos. Keep refrigerated.

This recipe is one of my favorites and it is the easiest thing I have ever made. It is the dessert to make for chocolate cravings.

3 1/2 ounces chocolate instant pudding
milk
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
0.5 (18 ounce) package Oreo cookies (crushed)

Steps:

  • Prepare the instant pudding as directed on package.
  • In a bowl combine pudding, cool whip and half of the crushed Oreos and mix very well until mixture is evenly colored.
  • Place mixture in 9x9x2 pan.
  • Top evenly with the rest of the crushed oreos.
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours and enjoy!

1 cup unsalted butter
6 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
3 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups roughly chopped chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
3 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®), crushed, or to taste
½ cup powdered sugar
3 teaspoons milk, or more as needed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with aluminum foil and lightly grease the foil.
  • Combine butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until melted, about 5 minutes. Whisk in white sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Turn off the heat.
  • Whisk in eggs, 1 at a time. Stir in flour and cocoa powder until mixture is well combined. Fold in chopped cookies. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with crushed cookies.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs, about 35 minutes. Place on a wire rack until completely cool, about 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, whisk powdered sugar and milk together in a small bowl until mixture has reached a drizzling consistency. Drizzle glaze over the top of the brownies.

I have made zillions of trifles in my lifetime, but this one is fantastic. Toffee bits are unavailable where I live, so I always have visitors bring me some just to make this (usually for them).

1 (19 7/8 ounce) package fudge brownie mix
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tablespoon dry instant coffee (dry)
1 package chocolate flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix
2 cups milk
1 (6 ounce) package English toffee bits (reserving 2 tablespoons for garnish)
3 1/4 cups whipped cream

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Prepare brownie mix as directed on package for 13 × 9-inch rectangular pan, using water, oil and eggs and stirring coffee into batter.
  • Bake and cool as directed.
  • Cut brownies into 1-inch squares.
  • Place half of the brownie squares in the bottom of a 3-quart glass bowl.
  • Prepare pudding mix as directed on package for pudding, Pour half of the pudding over brownies in bowl.
  • Top with half each of the toffee bits and whipped cream.
  • Repeat with remaining brownies, pudding, toffee bits and whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle with reserved toffee bits.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Cover and refrigerate any remaining trifle (if you have any left, doubtful).
