ORANGE SLUSH

Orange Slush image

This recipe was given to me by a dear friend who lives in Northern Indiana. She and her family always makes us feel so welcome when we come up for a visit and the food and drinks are always yummo! You can leave out the vodka and make this recipe kid friendly. This is a super drink for a slow Sunday afternoon, especially with a cookout. I pour this into a large thermal carafe and place it in a cooler when we go camping or spend a day at the lake.Bon appetit! --

ORANGE SHERBET SLUSHY

Orange Sherbet Slushy image

This is one of my mom's favorite drinks. We used to buy them and then take it home and try to deconstruct it at home and compare then side by side. It's still one of the great mysteries. When I went looking for her recipe it was right there in the card file under Beverage, the first recipe. She said use half a can (6 ounce) of orange juice concentrate. Remember those tiny 6 ounce cans? We're so super sized now no one would buy them I bet.
