WOW! Is all I have to say about this! I guarantee you will love it. These tiny biscuits are filled with cream cheese, dipped in butter and rolled in a sugar pecan topping, with orange zest, So good! This is sure to be a huge hit around your table, your friends table, your work table and even your church table!

2 can(s) plain flaky biscuits
1 stick melted butter
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 Tbsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp grated orange zest
4 oz cream cheese, cubed into 20 pieces
ORANGE GLAZE
1 c powdered sugar
2 Tbsp orange juice

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray bundt pan with pam, set aside.
  • 2. Have melted butter in bowl. Mix both sugars, pecans, zest and cinnamon in another medium bowl. Stuff each biscuit with a piece of cream cheese. When all are stuffed, roll in butter and then roll in sugar mixture, placing in bundt pan. If you have any sugar and butter left over, sprinkle over biscuits.
  • 3. Place in oven and bake for 45 min. until golden brown. Remove from oven, and let sit for a few min, while preparing glaze. In bowl, mix powdered sugar and orange juice. Invert bubble bread onto plate and drizzle with glaze. Enjoy!

1 ¼ cups sugar
1 tablespoon finely grated fresh orange zest
⅓ cup orange juice
¼ cup melted butter
2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough, separated and halved

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  • Toss the sugar and orange zest together in a small bowl. Whisk the orange juice and melted butter together in a separate small bowl.
  • Roll the biscuit dough pieces into balls. Dip each ball into the orange juice mixture and then roll in the sugar mixture. Arrange the coated balls evenly in the prepared pan. Pour the remaining orange juice mixture over the biscuits.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before turning out onto a serving platter. Serve warm.

2 orange slices (about 1/4-inch thick) with skin
1 lemon slice (about 1/4 -inch thick) with skin
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Refrigerator Dough

Steps:

  • Use the metal blade of a processor to process the orange and lemon slices, sugar, butter, honey and vanilla until the rinds are finely chopped about 45 seconds. Set aside Grease an 81/2-inch Kugelhopf pan. By hand divide the dough into 26 to 28 equal pieces, and shape them into balls about 11/4 inches in diameter. Put a single layer of buns, leaving a little space between, in the prepared pan. Spoon Spoon about 1/4 cup of the glaze over them. Repeat with the remaining balls of dough, forming 3 layers. Cover with oiled plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place (75' to 80') until doubled about 11/2 hours. Preheat the oven to 375'. Bake for 30 minutes. Lower the heat to 350' and bake for 10 -minutes more. Let the ring cool in the pan on a wire rack for 15- minutes. Then working over a baking sheet, invert the pan onto the wire rack letting the excess glaze drain onto the baking sheet. Spoon the glaze back over the ring and serve

We (my Grandmother and I) used to make this every year for christmas along with other bread and rolls it's fun to both make and eat the recipe is origionally called Golden Bubble Ring and is from a very old and tattered Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book some parts have been made better (by my Grandmother) and prep time includes rising time

2 (1/4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
4 -4 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • soften yeast in warm water according to directions on package.
  • in a medium saucepan melt the shortening then add milk 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp cinnamon and salt and scald( cook untill just boiling) then take off and move to mixing bowl.
  • add 1 cup flour and beat well add eggs beat to mix in add 1 cup more flour and yeast mixture and beakt untill smooth.
  • add in remaining flour untill you cant mix any more then knead on lightly floured surface 8-10 minutes
  • place in greased bowl turning once to grease surface cover let rise until double the size (1-1 1/2 hours).
  • punch down and let rest for 10 minutes.
  • mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
  • shape dough into balls about 28 about golf ball sized
  • roll each dough ball in melted butter and then cinnamon sugar.
  • and place in greased bundt pan cover and let rise til double (about an hour).
  • bake in oven at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

1 (11 ounce) package refrigerated French bread dough
1 1/2 teaspoons butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9 inch tube pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Cut dough into 16 slices, roll into balls. Evenly space 12 balls against outer wall of pan. Arrange remaining 4 balls evenly around inside tube of pan. Brush with butter. Sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over balls.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to serving plate.
  • Serve warm.
