Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in your pitcher and stir to combine.
- When ready to serve, salt the rims with orange zest and coarse salt, 4-6 glasses: Pour a little bit of orange juice in one shallow dish, then combine salt and orange zest in another shallow dish. Dip the top of each cup into the orange juice first, then dip into the salt/orange zest. The juice helps the salt stick!
- Add ice cube to each glass and pour the margaritas over the ice.
- Add orange slices and serve.
- Salt the rim of your glass with orange zest and sea salt. Pour a little bit of orange juice in one shallow dish, then combine salt and orange zest in another shallow dish. Dip the top of each cup into the orange juice first, then dip into the salt/orange zest. The juice helps the salt stick!
- Combine all the ingredients in your cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake until combined and then strain into your glass.

CRANBERRY MARTINIS
Steps:
- Several days ahead, place the sugar, cranberries, 6 strips of orange zest, and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes, until the cranberries start to pop open. Pour the vodka into a large pitcher, add the cranberry mixture, and store covered in the refrigerator for at least 2 days and up to 5 days.
- When ready to serve, strain the vodka mixture, reserving the cranberries and discarding the orange zest. Stir in the cranberry juice cocktail and Triple Sec. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the drink mixture, shake for a full 30 seconds (it's longer than you think!), and strain into martini glasses. Rub the rim of each glass with fresh orange zest, spoon a few cranberries into each glass, and serve ice cold.

Steps:
- Combine the granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Cook until the sugar is dissolved. Add the cranberries and weight with a plate to submerge them in the liquid. Cover the pot and refrigerate for at least 8 hours and up to 48 hours.
- Drain the cranberries, reserving the syrup. (Yields about 1 1/2 cups syrup; store leftover syrup in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 month.)
- Put the superfine sugar on a baking sheet, and toss the cranberries in the sugar. Refrigerate the cranberries, uncovered, for 1 hour, then toss again in the sugar. Refrigerate in an airtight container. (Makes about 2 cups.)
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lime and orange zests with the cranberries, 1/4 cup of the cranberry syrup, and the sugar.
- Add the tequila, orange juice, lime juice and orange liqueur; stir until combined. Fill 4 glasses with ice cubes, and strain some of the margarita mixture over each. Garnish each glass with 6 sugared cranberries.
