Orange Cooler Food

ORANGE COOLER

Steps:

• In a stainless steel or enameled saucepan, combine orange rind, sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes. Let the syrup cool and strain into a large bowl. Stir in bourbon, orange juice and lemon juice. Chill until cold. Transfer to a punch bowl set in a hollowed-out block of ice. Stir in champagne. Garnish the punch with cherries and orange slices.

GREEN TEA AND ORANGE COOLER

Steps:

• Add 4 cups water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags and let steep for 7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the agave nectar. Let the tea cool before adding it to a large pitcher along with 2 cups ice and 2 more cups water. Add the orange slices before serving.

ORANGE COOLER

Steps:

• In a half-gallon pitcher, combine orange juice concentrate, lemon juice and sugar. Stir in enough water to make 1/2 gallon.

WATERMELON ORANGE COOLER

Steps:

• In blender, add ice cubes and crush or chop.
• Add waternelon cubes or chunks (about 3 - 2 inch slices without rind and blen to a puree slush.
• Add 2 cups orange juice.
• Taste. If you want more orange juice flavor, add the extra cup and blend.
• Serve in chilled glasses.

LEMONY ORANGE COOLER PUNCH

Steps:

• Measure drink mix into cap to 2-qt. line; empty into 3-qt. plastic or glass pitcher. Add water and orange juice; stir until mix is dissolved.
• Refrigerate until ready to serve.
• Pour prepared drink into punch bowl just before serving. Stir in ginger ale. Top with strawberries and small scoops of sherbet.

ORANGE COOLER PIE

Steps:

• Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter or margarine, and 3 tablespoons white sugar. Mix well. Press into a 9 inch pie plate. Place in freezer.
• Beat together half and half and 1/2 cup white sugar for about 2 minutes. Add undiluted orange juice concentrate, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat for 1 minute. Add ice cream, and beat an additional 2 minutes. Pour filling into prepared pie crust.
• Freeze for several hours or overnight. Just before serving, garnish with whipped cream and orange sections if desired.

ORANGE-CREAMSICLE COOLER

Steps:

• In blender, in batches if necessary, process orange sherbet, orange juice and sugar until smooth.
• Divide among tall glasses.
• Top each with 1 scoop vanilla ice cream; garnish with orange slices, if desired.
