Moscow Mule Pitcher Food

LEMON MOSCOW MULE

Steps:

• Add the lemon juice, limoncello, vodka and a few ice cubes to a Moscow mule mug. Top off with ginger beer to fill the glass. Garnish with lemon wheels.
• Grate the zest from the lemons using a Microplane grater, taking care to leave the pith behind. Place the zest in a 3-quart pitcher. Pour the vodka over it and stir. Cover with plastic wrap and set in a spot where it won't be disturbed, at room temperature, and let steep 1 week.
• Combine 3 1/2 cups water and the sugar in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
• Let cool completely, then pour the syrup into the pitcher with the zest and stir. Cover tightly again and let stand for 24 hours. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve and discard the solids. Pour into clean bottles with tight-fitting caps. Refrigerate until well chilled, at least 4 hours or up to 1 month.

MOSCOW MULE

Steps:

• Put the vodka in a copper mug. Squeeze the lime over the vodka. Add some Ginger Ice Cubes and top with the ginger beer.

Steps:

• Add 1/4 cup ginger beer to drink mix in 1-qt. glass or plastic pitcher; stir until mix is dissolved.
• Stir in remaining beer.
• Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices.

GINGER MINT MOSCOW MULE

Steps:

• Place the vodka, ginger mint syrup and lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice cubes. Top with club soda, garnish with mint leaves and the lime wedge before serving.
• Place the sugar, water, ginger, mint and a pinch of salt into a small saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let steep for 20 to 30 minutes and strain once cooled. Alternatively, place the saucepan in a medium bowl filled with ice water and strain once cooled. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

MOSCOW MULE

Steps:

• Fill a 2- or 3-quart pitcher halfway with ice. Add the ginger beer, vodka and lime juice. Stir to combine. Serve in copper mugs (or a regular glass will work!). Enjoy!

Steps:

• Combine the ginger beer, lime juice and vodka in a pitcher. Serve over ice. If desired, serve with lime slices.

Steps:

• Pour the vodka into a metal mug, julep tin or tumbler. Load up ¾ full with crushed ice, then fill to the top with the ginger beer and stir gently to combine. Add a few dashes of ginger bitters. Serve with a sprig of mint to garnish and the lime to squeeze over.
