Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cream the butter with both sugars in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla and beat.
- Combine the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to the mixing bowl and mix until combined. After that, add in the oats, chocolate candies, chocolate chips and pecans in whatever quantity you prefer. Add the cereal at the very end, mixing until just combined. Do not over mix!
- Use a cookie scoop to scoop balls of dough onto a cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes, and then allow to cool on a rack.
- Serve with glasses of cold milk.
MONSTER COOKIE DOUGH
Steps:
- Put the flour in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until the flour reaches a temperature of 180 degrees F, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Whisk to get rid of as many lumps as you can. Set it aside to cool.
- In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, sugar, butter, heavy cream, vanilla and salt and mix on medium-high, scraping down the sides of the bowl periodically with a rubber spatula to ensure that everything gets combined, until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the flour and oats and mix to combine. Add the M&M's and mix to combine. Store by the scoop or in balls in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week.

- First prepare your brownies and allow them to cool. I refrigerated mine so that I could get nice clean cuts. When your brownies are ready to be cut, cut off the edges and eat them :) (you could share too, just sayin') and cut the brownies into different sized rectangles and squares. I cut some of the odd shaped leftovers into triangles too.
- It's important to do this step first to allow adequate time for the glaze to dry. To make the eyes you'll need any variety of Cheerios, some mini chocolate chips, powdered sugar and a little milk. Place the powdered sugar into a small bowl. Using a spoon, stir in some milk, a little bit at a time, until the consistency is good enough for dipping. Start with about a teaspoon and add a couple drops at a time until you get it where you want it.
- You could certainly use your own recipe for Royal icing, I have one myself as well. However, because this is such a great recipe for kids to get involved in, using these prepackaged icings is an excellent alternative. They are available in all of the colors that I used by my store only had a few. Therefore, I added some gel food coloring to mix up my colors. This icing is great, squeezes right out of the tube and onto the brownie, love it!
- Gently press Trix and Cocoa Puffs cereals into the frosted brownies for the monsters' polka dots. Lift the eyes from the waxed paper using a toothpick and gently press onto the frosted brownie. You can use pretzel sticks for arms and legs, and add eyebrows, mouths and hair using decorator gel.

- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 baking pan and spray with cooking spray, line with parchment paper, or line with tin foil (be sure to spray the tin foil with spray if you use it).
- Prepare brownies according to the direction on the box. Pour brownie batter into the baking pan and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter and softened butter. Stir with a fork until combined. Add brown sugar, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir with the fork until combined and mixed together.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir just until combined. Add the quick oats, chocolate chips, and m&m's. Stir again until combined.
