Non-bake cookie with coconut, oats and nuts.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups white sugar
½ cup butter
½ cup milk
3 cups rolled oats
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup flaked coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Bring sugar, milk and butter to boil. Boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Stir in cocoa and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients to coat well.
  • Drop onto waxed paper by the tablespoonfuls. Cool and enjoy!

I got this recipe from the mother of a boy I almost married. The cookie recipe is way better than marrying her son (laughing). These are very easy, very good.

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter

Steps:

  • Add first 5 ingredients to a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, and boil 1 minute.
  • remove from heat.
  • Add in oatmeal and peanut butter.
  • Mix well.
  • Spoon by teaspoons to foil.
  • Let cool 15 minutes.
  • Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or crunchy)

Steps:

  • Add milk, butter, vanilla, sugar and cocoa to a saucepan.
  • Bring to boil; boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add in oatmeal and peanut butter.
  • Mix well. Spoon by teaspoons to foil.
  • Let cool for about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container in fridge. Enjoy! Our whole family loves this recipe! It's delicious!
