¼ teaspoon cooking spray (olive or canola or brush olive oil on)
1 tortilla (flour or corn)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325° F.
  • Spray both sides of tortilla and place in a bowl, mold or inverted muffin tin. Carefully mold with your hands to desired shape.
  • Bake 8 minutes or until just brown.

12 Old El Paso™ mini tortilla bowls
1 tablespoon (15 mL) vegetable oil
1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
1 package (35 g) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix
1 cup (250 mL) finely shredded lettuce
Make it FRESH toppings, as desired (see below)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly brush bowls with oil to coat entirely, and place on ungreased cookie sheet; bake 4 to 5 minutes or until browned on rim--bowls will get crisp as cooled. Set aside.
  • In 10-inch (25 cm) nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Sprinkle with taco seasoning mix. Cook until beef is coated with seasoning, stirring occasionally.
  • To serve, divide lettuce and taco meat evenly among crisped bowls; serve with Make it FRESH toppings.

6 Tbsp. water
32 scooped tortilla chips
2 cups finely shredded iceberg lettuce
1/3 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
2/3 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Steps:

  • Brown meat in medium skillet; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; simmer 10 min., stirring occasionally.

4 (9 inch) whole wheat tortillas
1 tablespoon chili powder, divided
3/4 lb extra lean ground beef
1 cup matchstick carrot
1/2 cup salsa
2 tablespoons salsa
2 tablespoons Miracle Whip
4 cups torn salad greens
1 large tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup shredded tex-mex cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425º. Crumble 4 large sheets of foil to make 4 3" balls and place on baking sheet. Place one tortilla on top of each ball and spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle evenly with 1/2 tsp chili powder. Bake 6-8 min or golden. Tortillas will drape over balls as they bake.
  • Meanwhile brown ground beef with carrots and remaining chili powder in large skillet. Add salsa and cook 2 min or heated through.
  • Mix miracle whip and 2 tbsp salsa in large bowl. Add salad and tomatoes and toss to coat.
  • Spoon into tortillas, top with meat, cheese and cilantro.

This is so simple to do and you get such impressive results! If you have four ovenproof bowls, you can bake the tortilla shells all at once. If not, let bowl cool in between uses. I found in Martha Stewart Kids magazine.

4 flour tortillas
4 tablespoons olive oil (approximately)
1 tablespoon salt (to taste)
1 tablespoon pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly brush tortillas with oil. (I do both sides). Sprinkle with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Press tortilla into the ovenproof bowl. (Edges will look slightly wavy) Bake about 13 minutes.
  • Transfer tortilla to a cooling rack and repeat with remaining tortillas. Fill with your taco salad and listen to your guests rave!

1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
1 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 cups chopped lettuce
1 tomato, chopped
1/4 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Line 8 muffin cups with tortillas. Carefully fold back edges of tortillas to leave openings in centers for the filling.
  • Bake 10 min. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain. Return meat to skillet.
  • Add salsa to meat; mix well. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally. Spoon into tortilla bowls. Top with remaining ingredients.
