Categories     Snacks

Time 27m

Number Of Ingredients 5

125 grams butter (at room temperature)
1/4 cup caster sugar (55 grams)
100 grams sweetened condensed milk (1/2 a 390g tin)
1 & 1/4 cups self raising flour (190 grams)
1/3 cup Milo (40 grams)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius (fan-forced) and line two baking trays with baking paper.
  • Place the butter and caster sugar into the bowl of an electric mixer and mix on a medium-high speed for 5 - 6 minutes or until pale and creamy.
  • Reduce to a medium speed and add the condensed milk. Mix for 1 minute.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix to combine. The mixture will start to stick together - this is normal.
  • Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and roll into balls. Place onto your prepared baking trays and lightly flatten with a fork. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.
  • Place the trays into the oven and bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until the biscuits being to lightly brown on the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking trays for 15 minutes before carefully transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
