Microwave Rhubarb Sauce Food

EASY MICROWAVE RHUBARB SAUCE

Steps:

• In a microwave-safe bowl stir together the rhubarb with the sugar.
• Cook on HIGH for about 10-12 minutes stirring a couple times.
• Chill until ready to use.

HEALTHY RHUBARB CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Mix egg, flour, sugar, milk, rhubarb, and cinnamon together in a large microwave-safe mug.
• Cook on high until cake rises above the top of the mug, about 3 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute before serving.

RHUBARB CRISP FOR THE MICROWAVE

Steps:

• 1. Mix the first 3 ingredients in glass casserole or cake pan that will fit in your microwave. Use glass dish (Mom used to use a Corning Ware 2 inch deep large dish). Cook on high for 3 minutes, rotate dish - unless you have a turntable. Then cook for 3 more minutes on high. While that is cooking, stir together margarine, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and quick oatmeal. Mix well and put on top of rhubarb mixture. Microwave on high for 10 minutes - rotating once if you do not have a turntable.

EASY RHUBARB SAUCE

Steps:

• In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rhubarb, water, and sugar. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 8-10 minutes or until rhubarb is tender, stirring occasionally.
• Stir in pudding mix until blended; cook for 1-2 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
• Serve over ice cream if desired.
