(for the meatballs)
1 pound grass fed beef
2 t garlic powder
1/2 t cinnamon
3/4 t pink himalayan salt
1 T olive oil
(for the sauce)
1/2 cup chopped strawberries
3 T balsamic vinegar
1/4 t pink himalayan salt
1/4 t garlic powder
1/2 T dried oregano
2 T olive oil

Steps:

  • - place all sauce ingredients in a small food processor and blend until smooth - mix meat and all meatball seasonings in a large bowl with your hands - form into 1 inch meatballs - heat olive oil in a large skillet over a medium heat - add meatballs to the skillet and cook for 4 minutes, flip over and cook 3 minutes - add sauce to the skillet and simmer for 3 minutes

Steps:

  • Saute red onions in oil until soft.
  • add strawberries to pan and sautee until tehy soften.
  • Add vinegar and mustard. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, reducing to syrup consistency, mashing strawberries.
