Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except shrimp in large bowl.
  • Add shrimp and toss to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
  • Transfer shrimp mixture to serving bowl and serve with toothpicks.

2 large shallots, peeled and chopped
1 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
4 cloves garlic, smashed
3/4 cup soy sauce (gluten-free, if desired)
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup peanut oil
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 pounds large shrimp, shells and tails on

Steps:

  • Place shallots, ginger, garlic, soy, lime juice, and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the green onion and oil and blend until combined. Season with black pepper, to taste. Place shrimp in a large bowl, pour the marinade over, and let marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat a grill to high. Remove shrimp from the marinade and grill for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side. Serve on brown paper bags, if desired.

2 garlic cloves, minced

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the shrimp, oil, garlic, rosemary, oregano and bay leaves. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours. , Pour shrimp and marinade into a large deep skillet.   • Mix all ingredients for marinade together then marinate shrimp in a medium-sized bowl for 15 minutes.
  • GRILLING METHOD: Preheat BBQ to 425 F. Add shrimp to skewers, then place on a baking sheet. Drizzle some extra marinade overtop then discard remaining marinade. Grill shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and fully cooked. Serve and enjoy!

Steps:

  • To prepare cooked shrimp, combine water, bay leaves, Old Bay, peppercorns, salt and garlic. Squeeze juice from the lemon halves into the pand and then add the spent halves. Place pan over med hi heat and bring to a boil. Add the shrimp, reduce heat to low and cook uncovered until shrimp are pink, about 4 min. Drain shrimp into colander. Let cool completely. Cover and refrigerate. To make marinade, combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Pour marinade over shrimp in a 1-gal plastic bag. refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
