1 1/2-2 lbs boneless pork loin
3/4 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup soya sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 garlic clove, crushed

Steps:

  • Cut pork into 1" cubes and place in a shallow pan.
  • Combine remaining ingredients in a screw top jar and shake until well blended.
  • Pour marinade over pork.
  • Cover and refrigerate several hours, turning occasionally.
  • Drain meat; pat dry and tread on skewers.
  • Heat remaining marinade to brush on kebabs during cooking.
  • Broil slowly 5" from coals for about 25 minutes.
  • Turn skewers frequently and brush with marinade during cooking.
  • Vegetables may also be served in this way.
  • Thread mushrooms, green peppers, onion wedges or apple on skewers and brush with marinade.
  • Broil for 15-20 minutes.

You can easily double this recipe and I suggest you do so, this chicken is fantastic! Plan ahead the chicken needs to marinate in the sour cream-Dijon mixture for a minimum of 5 hours. If you are using wooden skewers make certain to soak them in cold water for a minimum of 30 minutes before threading.

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper (or use cayenne)
6 boneless chicken breasts (cut into about 1-1/2-inch pieces)
1 large red bell pepper (seeded and cut in desired pieces)
1 large cherry tomatoes (use as many as you want)

Steps:

  • In a large glass bowl mix together the sour cream, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, horseradish, honey, salt, pepper and red pepper; mix well to combine.
  • Add in the chicken to the bowl and toss to combine with remaining marinade; cover and refrigerate for 5 hours.
  • Remove the chicken and discard marinade.
  • Thread the chicken onto skewers alternating with bell pepper pieces and cherry tomatoes.
  • Grill covered with lid over medium-high heat for about 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is done.

2 tablespoons oil
4 teaspoons Maille® Dijon Originale mustard
1 tablespoon finely chopped flat parsley

Steps:

  • Trim fish, then season on both sides. Heat oil in a pan (which can be transferred to the oven.) Fry steaks on one side until crisp underneath. Using a pastry brush, paint Maille® Dijon Originale mustard over the top side of the cod.
  • Place in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees F for around 5 minutes, depending on thickness.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.

6 ounces all-purpose flour
4 ounces butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon Maille® Dijon Originale mustard
2 tablespoons oil
12 cocktail sausages
4 slices ham
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • First make the pastry. Place the flour, butter, egg and Maille® Dijon Originale mustard into a processor and mix until a ball begins to form around the blade. Remove from the processor bowl and lightly shape into a ball. Wrap in cling and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and fry cocktail sausages all over until brown. Remove from pan and cool. Wrap each sausage in a strip of ham.
  • Roll out the chilled pastry on a lightly floured board. Cut into rectangles large enough to enclose a wrapped sausage. Wrap the sausages in pastry and seal with beaten egg. Make slash marks along the top of each sausage roll and then brush with the beaten egg.
