Maple Rum Hot Toddy Food

SPICY MAPLE AND RUM TOTTIE

Steps:

• In a shaker, combine the hot tea, rum, lemon juice and maple syrup. Using a stir stick, stir until incorporated fully and then transfer to a tea cup. Season with a small dash of cayenne pepper and garnish with a lemon twist.

MAPLE RUM HOT TODDY

Steps:

• Add the rum, maple syrup, lemon and cinnamon to a mug.
• Fill up with water and stir to mix.
• Taste and add more syrup or lemon if desired.
• Enjoy and feel better!

UNCLE BILL'S HOT RUM TODDY

Steps:

• To a large heavy duty cup or glass, add rum, honey, lemon juice, 1/2 lemon rind, and nutmeg. Stand cinnamon stick in the cup.
• Pour the boiling water and stir well to blend.
• Adjust honey to suit your sweetness and adjust lemon juice to suit your taste.
• Sip slowly and enjoy.

MAPLE HOT TODDY

• How to mix:
• 1. Shake all ingredients (except hot water), and pour into a coffee mug.
• 2. Garnish with a lemon twist spiked with cloves and a cinnamon stick.

HOT MAPLE TODDY

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
• Simmer over low heat until flavors blend.
• Serve hot in a cappuccino mug with a slice of butter and cinnamon stick.

RUM HOT TODDY

Steps:

• In the serving glass, stir together the rum and maple syrup (or honey).
• Pour in the hot water. Garnish with a lemon wedge, squeezing in the juice, and the cinnamon stick.
• Warm 4 cups water, 1 ½ cups rum, and 4 tablespoons maple syrup on the stovetop until hot but not boiling. Garnish with lemon and serve.

HOT RUM TODDY

Steps:

• Put sugar in a mug or small tumbler and add enough water to dissolve. Add the rum, fill with boiling water, and stir. Garnish with slice of lemon and grate a little nutmeg on top.

Steps:

• Pour 1 1/2 tablespoons honey in each of 4 warmed cups. Add bourbon, rye, or rum and then water. Stir until honey is completely dissolved. Garnish each cup with a lemon slice and serve.

• Gin Toddy Substitute infused gin for the bourbon. Applejack Toddy Substitute pure maple syrup for the honey and applejack for the bourbon. Cinnamon tea may be substituted for the boiling water.
