RASPBERRY CREAM CHEESE CRESCENT RING

- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangle. On a large pan or pizza pan, lay out the crescent rolls in a large circle, with the wide ends of the crescent roll triangles forming the circle and overlapping a bit, and the top points of the triangles pointing outward like a sunburst. There should be an empt circle in the middle, about 4 inches across.
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Stir in the almond extract.
- Spoon the raspberry pie filling into a circle over the crescent rolls. Drop the cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls on top of the pie filling.
- Bring the points of the triangles of the dough up over the filling and tuck under the inside of the circle to form a large pastry ring. The filling will still be visible between the crescent rolls.
- Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely to room temperature.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar with the milk or heavy whipping cream, adding just 1 tablespoon of milk/cream at a time until the frosting reaches your desired consistency (thin enough to drizzle, but not too thin). Drizzle the frosting over the cooled danish ring.
- Slice and serve.

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the crescent roll triangles on the prepared baking sheet with the points sticking out, overlapping the bases to form an 8-inch (20 cm) circle.
- Spoon the cranberry sauce onto the bases of the crescent dough triangles and top with the brie wedges. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the cranberry sauce and brie and tuck underneath to seal.
- Brush the ring with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the flaky salt and thyme.
- Bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway through, or until dark golden brown. Transfer to a platter and serve.

- For filling, in a large saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and water until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Add berries and lemon juice. Set aside to cool. , In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and mace. Cut in butter to form fine crumbs. Stir in the eggs, milk and vanilla until blended. Divide in half. , Spread half of the batter in two greased 8-in. round baking pans. Divide filling and spread evenly over each. Drop remaining batter by small spoonfuls and spread evenly over filling. , For topping, cut butter into flour and sugar; stir in nuts. Sprinkle over tops. Bake at 350° until golden brown, 40-45 minutes.

- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the milk, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter, egg, salt and 3-1/2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough., Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-1/4 hours., Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide into 32 pieces. Flatten each into a 3-in. disk. Place about 1 teaspoon of preserves on the center of each piece; bring edges together and seal., Place 16 dough balls in a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan. Brush with half the remaining butter; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Top with remaining balls, butter and sugar. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 35 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°., Bake until golden brown, 25-30 minutes. Combine syrup ingredients; pour over warm bread. Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.

- Fill a 4 cup metal ring mold with 3/4 inch water; freeze until solid.
- Place enough fresh cranberries on the ice to fill the mold. Fill completely with water and freeze until solid, at least 6 hours or up to 1 week.
- To remove the ice ring, briefly dip the bottom of the mold in a bowl half-filled with warm water.
- Immediately float the ring in the punch.

- If using raspberries, drain, reserving syrup.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Stir in ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
- Stir in thawed lemonade and syrup.
- Refrigerate until partially set.
- Stir in berries and nuts.
- Pour into 6 cups gelatin mold and refrigerate until set.
- If using cranberries, proceed as above, but add frozen cranberry relish with lemonade.
- Stir in nuts when partially set.
