- In a food processor or blender, process cottage cheese and yogurt until smooth.
- Pour into bowl and stir in onions and seasonings.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes so flavors blend.
- Store for up to one week.
- Stir before serving.

This is from the "Everyday Cooking with Dr. Dean Ornish" Cookbook. The original recipe called for nonfat mayo and sour cream but I use low-fat instead for better flavor.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT RANCH-LOW FAT RANCH DRESSING
My family and I are trying to be more health conscious these days and eat meals with less fat. I wanted to create a Ranch dressing that was healthy but still had the awesome Ranch taste that we all love. When I made this for the first time I served it on salad and didn't tell my DH and kids. I told them at the end that it was a homemade lowfat Ranch and they couldnt' believe it. This dressing has so little to no fat you won't have any guilt eating it.
