2 cups uncooked penne pasta
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups 2% milk
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 pound peeled and deveined cooked medium shrimp
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, cook the garlic in butter over medium heat for 1 minute. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in 1 cup of cheese until melted. Remove from the heat. , Drain pasta; add the pasta, shrimp and corn to cheese sauce. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. , Cover and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until bubbly.

1 pound large shrimp (about 16 shrimp), peeled and deveined
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/2 lemon, zest grated
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 lemons)
1/4 lemon, thinly sliced in half-rounds
1/8 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Drizzle some oil in a large pot of boiling salted water, add 1 tablespoon of salt and the linguine, and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, or according to the directions on the package.
  • Meanwhile, in another large (12-inch), heavy-bottomed pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Be careful, the garlic burns easily! Add the shrimp, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and the pepper and saute until the shrimp have just turned pink, about 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from the heat, add the parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices, and red pepper flakes. Toss to combine.
  • When the pasta is done, drain the cooked linguine and then put it back in the pot. Immediately add the shrimp and sauce, toss well, and serve.

1 1/2 pounds ripe tomatoes
5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup loosely packed fresh oregano, finely chopped

1 pound peeled and deveined medium shrimp

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook as the label directs for al dente; drain and return to the pot.
  • Meanwhile, core, halve and seed the tomatoes. Blend the tomatoes, 1/4 cup olive oil, the garlic, oregano, 3/4 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper in a food processor to make a chunky sauce. Add to the pasta and toss to combine.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet, then add the shrimp in a single layer; cook, turning once, until just cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the shrimp to the pasta, tossing to combine.
  • Divide the pasta and shrimp among bowls. Drizzle with olive oil.

1 ½ pounds cooked fresh shrimp
6 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup chopped parsley

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 (16 ounce) package linguini pasta

Steps:

  • Cook pasta until al dente according to package directions.
  • While linguine is cooking, melt butter or margarine in a large skillet. Add garlic, and saute briefly to release flavor. Add cream; heat just to boiling, stirring frequently. 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup white wine
1 bunch asparagus stalks, trimmed
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cup freshly chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 container cherry tomatoes, halved

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to the directions on the box. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water.
  • Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over a medium-high flame. Add the garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside. Add the lemon juice, white wine, and the reserved cup water to the skillet. Let simmer until the liquid is reduced by about half. salt water (for cooking)
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 tablespoon shallot, chopped
1 cup light cream
6 ounces cheddar cheese, grated (Tillamook preferred)

pepper
1 lb medium shrimp, deveined
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 ounce sherry wine

Steps:

  • Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente.
  • Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a saute pan.
  • Add shallots and cook for one minute over medium heat.
  • Add cream and bring just to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low.
