Lemonade Chex Mix 12 Food

CHEX® LEMON BUDDIES

Steps:

• Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
• In 1-quart microwaveable bowl, microwave chips, butter, lemon peel and juice uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
• Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; gently shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.

LEMONADE CHEX® MIX

Steps:

• In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals and almonds.
• In microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in sugar and lemonade concentrate. Microwave uncovered on High 30 seconds; stir. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High about 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture begins to brown.
• Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.

LEMON BUDDIES (CHEX MIX)

Steps:

• 1. Measure cereal in large bowl and set aside.
• 2. In a 1 quart microwavable bowl, microwave chips, butter, lemon peel and juice uncovered on high for 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon ziploc baggie.
• 3. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; gently shake until well coated. Spread on waxed papaer to cool. Store in air tight container.

LEMONADE CHEX MIX

Steps:

• In a large microwave bowl, mix cereals and almonds.
• Microwave butter, sugar and lemonade concentrate uncovered on High 30 seconds then stir.
• Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High about 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture begins to brown.
• Spread on waxed paper to cool then store in airtight container.
• PUMP up the flavor by mixing in 1/2 to 1 cup dried cranberries, yogurt-covered raisins, dried tropical fruit bits or flaked coconut after microwave time, just before spreading to cool.

ORIGINAL CHEX MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250°F.
• Heat Butter in large 8-quart pot until melted and add seasoning salt and Worcestershire sauce and set aside.
• In large bowl, measure all 3 cereals, nuts, and pretzels and mix together.
• Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and stir until evenly coated.
• Place mixture in a large pan (I usually use my roasting pan) and bake for 1 hour, stirring approximately every 15 minutes.

LEMONADE CHEX MIX

Steps:

• Pour cereal into a large bowl and then set aside. Melt the chocolate, butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a microwave safe container. Melt for minute. Stir. Melt for additional 30 second intervals until smooth when stirred. Pour melted mixture over cereal and gently stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
• Transfer the cereal into a gallon ziploc bag. Add the powdered sugar and shake, shake, shake your money maker. Serve it up.

Steps:

• In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals and almonds.
