- If your air fryer requires preheating, preheat to 400F.
- Meanwhile, snap off or trim off the woody ends of the asparagus and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle the asparagus with oil then season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice and nutritional yeast / parmesan. Use tongs to gently toss until well coated.
- Working in batches as needed, add the asparagus to the air fryer basket and spread into a single layer, making sure there is no overlapping.Air fry for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crispy on the ends, stopping to shake the basket (or rotate the pans in larger air fryers) about halfway through.
- Transfer the asparagus to a large plate or serving platter. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and fresh parsley.

- Preheat air fryer to 375ºF (if necessary, not all air-fryers need to pre-heat).
- Add prepared asparagus to the air fryer basket and toss and spray with a light coating of avocado spray, (or drizzle it on). Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and evenly spread out asparagus spears in one layer.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, tossing the spears halfway through, or until asparagus is tender-crisp. Thicker spears may take a few extra minutes.
- Transfer asparagus to a serving platter, and sprinkle with lemon juice, lemon zest and parmesan. Taste and adjust seasoning, as desired.

- Preheat the broiler. Toss the asparagus with 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper on a baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Broil, stirring occasionally, until tender, 4 to 6 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Add the egg and reduce the heat; simmer 5 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl of ice water.
- Peel the egg and transfer to a blender. Add the garlic, lemon juice, parmesan and mustard and puree until smooth. With the machine running, drizzle in the remaining 8 tablespoons olive oil and blend until thick and creamy. Stir in the crushed peppercorns. Spoon the lemon-pepper sauce over the asparagus and top with more parmesan.
