For a fun Halloween activity, gather the kids around to adorn these Rice Krispies Treats® with pumpkin faces.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal or Kellogg's® Cocoa Krispies™ cereal
1 cup Candy corn
1 cup Jellied orange slices
1 cup Decorator frosting
1 (5 ounce) package Licorice

Steps:

Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
Add Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using 1/2 cup measure coated with cooking spray, portion and shape mixture into pumpkins. Create eyes, nose, mouth and ears with candy corn, jellied orange slices and frosting. Use pieces of licorice stick for stems. Wrap individually in plastic wrap. Best if served the same day.

Marshmallow rice krispie treat colored orange and shaped into small pumpkin shapes, and using green "Mike & Ike" candies as the stem. Easy, and very kid friendly recipe great for any fall holidays!

Ingredients

3 tablespoons melted margarine
6 cups krispie crispy rice cereal
10 ounces miniature marshmallows
green mike and ike candy
orange food coloring

Steps:

Melt margarine in large microwave safe bowl. Add marshmallows, and heat again in microwave until soft and fluffy. Put in a few drops of food coloring to achieve desired color. Stir in cereal and mix well. Using lightly greased hands, shape into small handful sized balls. Place onto pan lined with parchment paper and put candy piece in the top for a stem. Pumpkins aren't generally perfectly round, so it makes this a very kid friendly recipe.
