2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon steak sauce
1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 pound ground beef
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
8 cooked bacon strips
Optional toppings: lettuce leaves and tomato, onion and pickle slices

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties., Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 3 in. from the heat for 4-7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Top with cheese. Grill 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted. Serve on buns with bacon and toppings of your choice.

Adding ground bacon to your burger mix makes the burgers incredibly juicy and flavorful. For each 1 lb. ground beef, add 4 oz of ground bacon.

4 oz bacon ((1/2 package))
1 lb. lean ground beef ((85/15))
1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried parsely
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Cut the bacon into pieces and freeze the pieces for 20 minutes to make it easier to process.
  • Process the bacon in a mini food processor on the "chop" setting until finely ground. Mix it into the beef with the remaining ingredients.
  • Form the mixture into four 3/4-inch-thick patties. Use your thumb to make a shallow dimple in the middle of each burger. This helps them retain their shape.
  • Heat a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet over medium heat, about 3 minutes. Add the burgers. If the skillet is well-seasoned, there's no need to add oil. Otherwise, add a tablespoon of oil to the pan before adding the burgers.
  • Cook the burgers until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side over medium heat.*
  • Serve immediately with your favorite hamburger toppings.**

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup onion (finely chopped )
2 slices bacon (finely diced)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 cups breadcrumbs (fresh soft)
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Optional: hamburger buns (toasted or not)
Optional: toppings and condiments, as desired

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Combine ground beef, onion, bacon, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs , egg, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands until blended.
  • Shape the ground beef mixture into 6 equal size burgers. Sprinkle the burgers evenly on both sides with the flour.
  • Oil the grill grates. Heat half the burners to medium-high heat, about 400 F to 470 F. The other half of the grill should be low heat, about 200 F to 275 F.
  • Place the burgers on the medium-high heat side and cook until well-browned, about 2 minutes on each side. Move them to the low heat side and continue to cook to desired doneness, 3 to 5 minutes more.

1/2 lb ground sirloin
1/2 lb ground chuck
4 slice bacon
1 medium sweet onion

Steps:

  • 1. Mix the ground chuck and ground sirloin. Set aside.
  • 2. Dice the onion.
  • 3. Cook the bacon until crispy.
  • 4. Take out of pan set aside to cool.
  • 5. Cook the diced onion in the bacon fat on low heat until translucent.
  • 6. Chop the cooled bacon into bite-size pieces.
  • 7. Add the bacon and onion to the ground beef.
  • 8. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
  • 9. Mix all the ingredients until all is well combined. Form the burgers (you decide the thickness).
  • 10. Put them on a really hot grill. How long they cook depends on how you like your burger cooked. Me, well done.
  • 11. To top we use A1 and mayo.

  • Set out a stick of butter to soften on the counter. Cut bacon in half and fry in a large skillet over medium to medium low heat about 10 mins each side.
  • Meanwhile, place hamburger meat in a shallow dish, pour over Dale’s, ranch dressing, and beaten egg. Mix together with hands, being careful not to over mix. Divide the meat into 6 even sections. Grab a section and gently form a ball. Press down to form into patty. Season both sides with Montreal Steak seasoning.
  • Butter six hamburger buns with the softened butter. When all your bacon is done, leave just enough bacon grease in the skillet to coat the bottom. Turn the heat up to medium high. Once the bacon grease is hot, arrange the patties in the skillet. Cook for three mins, then flip. Let sizzle for about 30 seconds or so, then add your bacon and cheese. Cover and cook for another remaining 2 mins or so.
  • Toast buttered buns under broiler in oven. When your burgers and buns are done, build and eat!
