Steps:
- Melt butter in a large skillet or wok over medium-low heat. Add shrimp; cook and stir until shrimp turn pink, about 5 minutes. Mix in garlic powder.
- Whisk water and cornstarch together in a bowl to make a slurry. Pour into the skillet and stir until butter sauce thickens, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Ok, let me just say that if I make shrimp any other way, my hubby pouts because I didn't make it this way! If you like shrimp and garlic butter, this is the recipe for you!!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 deg.
- Mix garlic in with butter.
- In 9x13 pan, place shrimp and dot with garlic butter.
- Sprinkle heavily with seasonings.
- Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes or until shrimp is opaque, stirring once or twice during cooking to make sure the shrimp is cooking evenly.
- Serve with the butter sauce either in the bowl with the shrimp or in a seperate bowl for dipping.
- We always eat this with hot white rice.
- Make sure to have plenty of napkins available!

Steps:
- Pat shrimp dry.
- Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over moderately low heat and add garlic, red pepper flakes and sea salt.
- Cook until garlic is pale golden, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Increase heat to moderately high and add shrimp.
- Saute' shrimp turning occasionally, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and transfer to a serving bowl.

Baked version of garlic lemon butter shrimp - the oven cooks more evenly and slowly, reducing the risk of over cooking the shrimp! Lots of great buttery garlicy sauce for serving over pasta and/or with a crusty bread for sopping.

- Preheat the oven to 375.
- Run the shrimp under water just until they come apart - no need to thaw completely.
- In a food processor, combine butter (cut into a few cubes), garlic, salt, parsley, red pepper flakes and the juice of the lemon. Pulse a few times until the mixture resembles gravel.
- Toss shrimp in the seasoned butter mix. Spread onto a baking sheet and bake until the shrimp is opaque (10 minutes or so, depending on the size of the shrimp).
- Serve as is as an appetizer, or over cooked pasta for a main dish.
