Jelly Jello Shooters Food

JELLO SHOTS

Steps:

• Boil cup of water.
• Empty jello powder into a large mixing bowl and add the boiling water.
• Continue stirring for two minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved.
• Add in the 1/2 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of vodka.
• Stir until mixed and pour into 2oz. cups filled 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.

JELL-O SHOOTERS

Steps:

• In medium bowl, mix Jell-O and boiling water.
• Stir well until powder is completely dissolved.
• Add vodka and stir well.
• Pour into 2 oz shooter cups and refrigerate 3 hours.
• Enjoy.

JELLY (JELLO) SHOOTERS

Steps:

• Dissolve each packet of jelly crystals in one cup of boiling water.
• Stand until room temperature.
• Add 1 cup vodka to each jelly, then pour into shot glasses and refrigerate until set (about 3 hours).
• * I actually used almost a cup of vodka for each mix, but topped each up with a liqueur that complemented the jelly crystal flavour-limoncello for the lemon, grand marnier for the lime and cassis for the raspberry. It's really good!

SKIP 'N GO JELLY SHOTS

Steps:

• Pour the lemonade into a small saucepan. Add the sugar if using (depending on how sweet the lemonade is, you can choose to add sugar to make the shots sweeter). Sprinkle with the gelatin and allow it to soak for a minute or two. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar and gelatin have completely dissolved.
• Combine the lemonade mixture with the beer and vodka in a large liquid measuring cup with a pouring spout.
• Put 16 clear plastic 1-ounce shot glasses on a baking sheet. Pour the lemonade mixture into the glasses, filling them about three-quarters full. (You should have 1/2 to 3/4 cup liquid remaining in the measuring cup.) Refrigerate the shots until just lightly set, 30 to 60 minutes. Leave the remaining lemonade mixture out at room temperature.
• To create the foam: Add 1 tablespoon of the coconut cream to the remaining lemonade mixture. With the whisk attachment on an immersion blender or hand mixer, whisk the mixture until foamy. Spoon into the tops of the lightly set shots and refrigerate another 2 to 3 hours. If the foam starts to get thin, add another tablespoon of the coconut cream to the remaining lemonade mixture and repeat the process.

JELLO SHOTS

Steps:

• Mix boiling water and jell-o.
• Stir in tequila.
• Pour into individual "shot glasses" or condiment cups.
• Refrigerate till set.

JELLY SKULL SHOTS

Steps:

• Fill each skull with 2-3 gummy worms; set aside.
• To make the white layer: Add the cold water to a large bowl and sprinkle the gelatin on top. Let stand for 5 minutes. Whisk in the boiling water to completely dissolve gelatin. Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk. Divide the mixture evenly between each skull cavity. Refrigerate until firm, about 15 minutes.
• To make the green layer: Add the cold water to a medium bowl and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin on top. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add the boiling water and lime jell-o and whisk to completely dissolve. Stir in the vodka. Pour the mixture over the white layer in each skull chill until firm, about 15 minutes.
• To make the purple layer: Add the cold water to a medium bowl and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin on top. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add the boiling water and grape gelatin and whisk to completely dissolve. Stir in the vodka. Pour the mixture over the green layer in each skull chill until completely firm, about 3 hours.
• To unmold, gently loosen the top of the jello with your fingers. Dip the bottom of the pan in a baking dish filled with hot water for 10 seconds. Invert pan to unmold Jelly Skull Shots.
