Steps:
- Place the peppers on a baking sheet with the cut side facing down. Place the baking sheet on the top shelf in the oven and broil until the outer layer of the skin has blackened, about 8-14 minutes.
- Place the peppers in a zip-lock bag or other sealable container, seal and let them cool until you can handle them, about 20 minutes. Remove the skins from the peppers. The skins should easily "pinch" off.
- Assemble sandwich by spreading the cream cheese on the inside of one piece of bread. Layer with roasted jalapeno peppers and shredded cheese. Top with the second bread slice and spread with the softened butter the outersides of the bread slices. Sprinkle over both sides with crushed chips.
- Preheat a skillet and grill until golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Steps:
- In a sealable bag, pour Italian dressing over chicken and refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.
- Bring a small saucepan water to a boil and add jalapenos.
- Return to a boil and shut off heat allowing jalapeno to seep for 5-10 minutes.
- Pour off water and drain jalapenos on a paper towel.
- Once cool to handle, stuff each jalapeno with cream cheese.
- Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
- Roll chicken breast around jalapeno peppers.
- Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon.
- Secure with toothpicks.
- Prepare the grill, by lightly oiling the grill grate and heating the grill to medium high heat.
- Arrange wrapped chicken breasts on the prepared grill.
- Grill for 20 minutes turning frequently, or until bacon is browned and the chicken juices run clear.
- UPDATE: I tried baking the chicken at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes and it came out very good as well.

Steps:
- Place jalapeño peppers directly over a gas burner, turning occasionally, until charred on all sides, about 5 minutes total. Alternatively, place under a preheated broiler as close as possible to the heat source, turning occasionally, until charred on all sides, about 10 minutes. Transfer charred jalapeños to a sheet of aluminum foil and wrap tightly to seal. Let rest five minutes.
- Meanwhile, place bacon in a large nonstick or cast iron skillet and cook over medium-low heat, turning occasionally, until crisp all over, about 8 minutes. Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate and bacon fat to a small bowl.
- Unwrap jalapeños. Peel skin and discard. Remove stems and seeds. Split each pepper in half lengthwise.
- Wipe out skillet and return to medium heat. Melt butter until foaming subsides. Add both bread slices and cook, swirling occasionally, until pale golden brown on bottom side, about 2 minutes.
- Transfer to a cutting board toasted-side-up. Place cheese slice on top of one slice, followed by bacon slices and jalapeño peppers. Place cheese slice on top of other slice of bread and spread cream cheese over it. Close sandwich.
- Add half of reserved bacon fat to skillet and heat over medium-low heat. Add sandwich and cook, swirling occasionally, until deep, even golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove sandwich using a flexible metal spatula. Add the remaining bacon fat. Return sandwich to skillet cooked-side up. Season with salt. Cook, swirling occasionally, until second side is deep, even golden brown and cheese is thoroughly melted, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately. This Recipe Appears In Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese

- I find it's best to make one sandwich at a time. Butter one side of 2 slices of bread. Then add 3 tablespoons of the spreadable cheese to the other side of one of those slices. Place 1 slice butter side down in the pan. Top with 3 slices of smoked gouda per sandwich and jalapeño slices.
- You can add the coconut fakin’ bacon now if you want, but I prefer adding into the sandwich after it's grilled as this will prevent the coconut bacon from getting too soggy. If using another kind of bacon you can add it in on top of the jalapeño slices. Then add the other slice of bread butter side up on top.
- Cover the pan with a lid and heat for about 5 to 6 minutes or until an even golden brown is achieved on the bottom of the sandwich. Carefully flip the sandwich and leave covered for another 5 to 6 minutes until crispy and golden brown on the other side. Then turn off heat and leave the lid on for about 5 more minutes to get the cheese really melted. The key to get the cheese slices to melt well is to heat the sandwiches over low heat for a longer amount of time and trap the heat in the pan with the lid.

- Combine cream cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, and salt and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well until combined.
- Spread jalapeño filling on 1 slice of bread. Top with shredded cheddar cheese then remaining slice of bread to form a sandwich.
- Spread half of the butter on top of the sandwich. Use your fingers to "press" half the parmesan into the butter so it sticks to make the parmesan crust. You'll do the same thing to the other half once it's in the pan.Heat your pan on medium heat for a few minutes. Add the sandwich with the butter and parmesan side down. Add the other half of butter and parmesan to the other side of the sandwich, making sure to press the parmesan in with your fingers. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes. (You'll know it's ready to flip when the outside cheese is cooked because it will easily lift off the pan)
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes, or until golden and crisped to your liking!

- Begin by roasting the jalapeños. Turn your broiler on to 400 F (200 C). Put the jalapeños on a baking sheet in the top of the oven. Look at them after about 4 - 5 minutes, and if they are blackened, turn them over and allow to blacken on all sides. Remove to a plate and allow to cool about 10 minutes.
- When the jalapeños have cooled enough to handle them, strip the blackened skin off, then cut them in half and scrape away the seeds and set aside.
- Half the avocado and hold it in your hand. Carefully use a knife to cut thin slices into the flesh, then use a spoon to remove it from the skin and set aside on a plate. (be careful to not let the knife pierce the skin when slicing)
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and stack them with the buttered sides touching. Spread 1 tbsp of cream cheese on the exposed top piece of bread.

- Place the peppers on a rimmed baking sheet under the broiler, and cook for about 8 minutes total, turning them frequently as the side towards the flame gets bubbly and charred. When the peppers are all blistered place them in a small bowl and place a dishtowel or plate on top to cover. Allow it to steam, and when cool enough to handle, peel off the skin, and remove the stem and seeds. Roughly chop the peppers (use gloves or wash hands very well after with hot soapy water).
- In a small bowl mix together the chopped jalapeños, jalapeño havarti, cheddar, cream cheese, bacon, garlic powder and salt and pepper.
- Butter one side of each of the pieces of bread. Evenly spread the cheese mixture on 2 slices of the bread, on the un-buttered sides. Cover the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up. Lightly sprinkle the top with salt.
