How To Make Microwave Chex Mix Food

CHRISTMAS CHEX™ PARTY MIX

Steps:

• Line large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper. In large bowl, mix cereal, marshmallows and pretzels.
• In medium microwavable bowl, microwave candy coating uncovered on High 60 to 90 seconds, stirring after 1 minute, until almost melted. Stir until smooth. Pour onto cereal mixture; mix well.
• Spread on cookie sheet; sprinkle with holiday sprinkles, and cool completely, about 15 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces.
• In 2-quart resealable food-storage plastic bag, add coated cereal pieces and powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake to coat. Remove from bag; discard any remaining powdered sugar.
• In large serving bowl, mix coated cereal mixture and chocolate candies.

MY MICROWAVABLE VERSION OF CHEX PARTY MIX

Steps:

• Put cereals, crackers and peanuts in large bowl.
• Mix first 5 ingredients together; pour over cereal combination, mixing well to coat.
• Microwave on High for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
• Drain on paper towels that have been put on top of newspaper.

HOW TO MAKE MICROWAVE CHEX MIX

Steps:

• Combine all the cereal, pretzels, nuts, etc. into a big microwave-safe bowl. I like to use a large glass mixing bowl.
• Mix the cereal all up.
• In a smaller microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
• Add all the additional seasonings together and whisk until it's completely mixed.
• Pour the seasoning mixture over the cereal mixture and toss it until it's well coated.
• Microwave for 2 minutes on HIGH.
• Let it sit for 1 minute in the microwave and then give it a stir.
• Microwave on HIGH for another 2 minutes, then let it sit for 10 minutes in the microwave with the door closed.
• Remove it from the microwave and give it a stir.
• Eat immediately or transfer to a covered container.

TACO CHEX MIX (MICROWAVE)

Steps:

• Melt butter in 11-by-7-inch microwaveable pan for 60-70 seconds.
• Add taco seasoning and salt.
• Add Chex and microwave for a minute to a minute and a half.
• Stir and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and microwave for a minute.
• Stir and microwave for another minute.
• Cool.

CHEX PARTY MIX - MICROWAVE

Steps:

• In a large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, nuts, cheese crackers, pretzels, and bagel chips, set aside.
• In a small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on high about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
• Microwave uncovered on high 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
