Hot Chocolate Mason Jar Mix Food

HOT CHOCOLATE IN A JAR

Steps:

• Layer the cocoa, sugar, cornstarch in an 8oz/half pint Mason Jar.
• Top with dark chocolate.
• Place a lid on the jar, and tie together with a string and instruction card.

MASON JAR HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Add the ingredients to the jar, layering them on top of each other. Start with the cocoa powder, followed by the sugar and then the chocolate chips. Fill any extra space with optional toppings or marshmallows.
• Remove the marshmallows and set them aside. Add the rest of the ingredients and 1 cup of milk to a saucepan. Heat on medium heat, whisking to melt the chocolate. Continue to whisk for about 5 minutes until the chocolate is fully melted and everything is well combined. Remove from the stove, top with marshmallows and serve.

CHOCOLATE MASON JARS

Steps:

• Combine the milk, mayonnaise, cream, sugar and coffee in a medium saucepan. Whisking, bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until thickened, 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the chocolate chips and vanilla, and whisk until the chocolate is fully melted. Divide evenly between six 4-ounce mason jars. Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 3 hours. Garnish with berries and serve.

HOT CHOCOLATE JARS

Steps:

• Into each jar, layer 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of marshmallows. Repeat with remaining jars and ingredients. Screw on the lids and affix a label with the recipe below:
• To serve: Remove the marshmallows to a plate and mix together the remaining ingredients in the jar. Bring 1 cup of milk to a simmer over low heat. Add 3 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix and stir until completely combined. Pour into cups or mugs and top with marshmallows before serving.
