2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
kosher salt and black pepper
4 pounds baby-back ribs (2 to 3 racks)
0.5 cup Dijon mustard
0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
0.25 cup honey

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 275° F. Make the rub: In a small bowl, combine the sugar, paprika, dry mustard, oregano, 2 teaspoons salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper.
  • Place the ribs on a large rimmed baking sheet. Rub the ribs with the spice mixture and tightly cover the baking sheet with foil. Bake until tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone, 2 to 2 ½ hours.
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce: In a small bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, vinegar, and honey. Transfer ½ cup of the sauce into a small bowl for serving.
  • Heat grill to medium-high. Grill the ribs, basting with the remaining sauce and turning occasionally, until just beginning to char, 4 to 5 minutes. Serve with the reserved sauce.

1 rack baby back ribs, membrane removed
⅓ cup French's honey mustard
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon French's honey mustard
½ tablespoon cayenne
½ tablespoon McCormick ® Paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat grill for medium-low heat. The thermometer should reach about 300ºF (150°C)
  • Place ribs on a foil-covered sheet tray. Rub both sides of the ribs with olive oil and salt.
  • Brush French's Honey Mustard on both sides, covering all areas. Fold foil over ribs to form an enclosed packet. Use a knife to poke a few venting slits in each foil pack.
  • Place foil-wrapped rack on grill, close lid, and cook for 1-2 hours, until ribs are tender but not falling apart.
  • Glaze: Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add in the rest of the ingredients and whisk well. Let glaze simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Unwrap the foil and spread the glaze all over the ribs.
  • Oil the grill and turn the heat up to high. Grill ribs on both sides until ribs become caramelized, 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from grill, then let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Enjoy!

1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons honey
4 teaspoons prepared dijon-style mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 lbs pork spareribs, cut 1 rib portions

Steps:

  • Combine teriyaki marinade& sauce, honey, mustard and garlic in large bowl; add spareribs and toss until pieces are thoroughly coated.
  • Reserving sauce, remove ribs and place, meaty-side up, in 9- by 13-inch microwave-safe baking dish.
  • Let stand 10 minutes.
  • Cover and microwave on medium-high (70%) 14 minutes, rotating dish once.
  • Meanwhile, prepare coals for grilling.
  • Remove ribs and place on grill 4 to 5 inches from medium-hot coals; brush with reserved sauce.
  • Cook ribs 8 to 10 minutes, turning and brushing occasionally with remaining sauce.
  • (Or, place ribs on rack of broiler pan; brush with reserved sauce. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 6 minutes on each side; brush once with remaining sauce).

This recipe uses a classic Cantonese dipping sauce as its base. The ribs make a wonderful appetizer or can be served as an entree with french fries and coleslaw.

2 lbs baby back ribs (ask your butcher to saw the ribs in half, lengthwise, for bite size ribs.)
1 cup honey mustard (You can also use Dijon mustard)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chili sauce
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
4 garlic cloves, minced

Steps:

  • Remove the membrane from the underside of the ribs: Dislodge a bit of the membrane, grip it with a paper towel and pull membrane away.
  • Place ribs in a baking dish.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients and stir well.
  • Coat the ribs evenly on both sides with the rub.
  • Marinate the ribs, refrigerated for at least an hour and up to 8 hours for extra flavor.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place marinated ribs on a wire rack, meaty side up.
  • Place rack on a foil-lined baking dish on the middle oven rack.
  • Place a small pan of hot water in the bottom of the oven and roast the ribs until the meat begins to shrink from the ends of the bone, about 75 minutes.
  • Brush the meaty side of ribs with reserved marinade once or twice during roasting.
  • Do not turn the ribs over while roasting.
  • These ribs can also be cooked on the outdoor grill or smoked per your smoker directions.

This is so easy to put together, and great served with cooked noodles. I have many crock pot recipes that I have collected over the years, and this is one of them, hope you enjoy! Please adjust amounts to taste. Double the sauce amount if using more than 3 pounds of beef. Add in a sliced onion also if desired. This will also work well with a small beef blade roast, you might want to brown the roast firstly before adding to the crock pot and double the sauce amount, cook until the roast is fork-tender.

3 lbs short rib of beef
1 tablespoon dijon-style mustard
2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic (or to taste)
1/4 cup honey
salt and pepper
1 cup bottled hickory flavored barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water

Steps:

  • Season ribs with salt and pepper, if desired.
  • Place in slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, combine mustard, minced garlic, honey, BBQ sauce, and more salt and pepper to taste.
  • At this point, you may add the water with the cornstarch in with the sauce, or add it the last 30 minutes of cooking; just mix the 2 tbsp cornstarch in 2 tbsp water; add to sauce, stir.
  • (Remember to double the water and cornstarch if you have doubled the sauce recipe).
  • Pour the sauce over ribs.
  • Cover and cook on LOW, for 6-7 hours, or until tender.
  • The last 30 minutes of cooking, mix the cornstarch with the water; add to the sauce in the crock pot, stir and cook until thickened.
  • Note: the sauce recipe may be doubled if desired, for more sauce.

1/2 cup GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 lb. pork baby back ribs, halved lengthwise, cut into individual ribs (see Tip)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Combine all ingredients except ribs in small saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer on low heat 3 min.
  • Arrange ribs on rack in roasting pan. Bake 40 min., turning after 20 min. Brush with mustard mixture; bake 20 min., turning and brushing with glaze every 10 min.
