Sweet and tangy and much better than store bought. Once you make this, you'll be experimenting with alot of other homemade dressings. Most are surprisingly easy.

1 cup canola oil
1/2 cup ketchup (Heinz)
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients, except canola oil, together. With wire whisk, slowly whisk in canola oil until well blended.
  • Chill, serve & enjoy.

1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp cider vinegar
6 tbsp sunflower oil or rapeseed oil
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Put the mustard, honey, garlic, balsamic and cider vinegar in a food processor and whiz together.
  • With the motor still running, pour the oil in through a funnel.
  • Season with salt and pepper and serve. Another option would be to put all the ingredients into a jar and shake hard! (with the lid on, obviously)
